My family loves hometown. The wings are better than anyone in Jefferson county, I’d be willing to say Lewis and Oswego as well. The pizza is so customizable and they have multiple crusts, even gluten free!!! They also are an amazing addition to our community always helping and improving as well as donating to local teams and snowed in drivers. I love hometown they’re a wonderful business and also a wonderful pizza shop! Always my first choice!!!

The pizza’s OK at best. Not the best I’ve ever had, but not the worst either. Crust was kinda flat and the pies are loaded with sauce; I thought it was overpowering. It even shows on the photos posted that there’s too much sauce. Ordered from here a few times, as there’s really not that many places in town to get pizza. Wings are the best part of this place.

We tried the Hometown Pizzeria for the first time tonight. The pepperoni pizza was okay but we’ve definitely had better. One of the pizzas had a thin, crunchy crust, while the other was a bit chewier and not cooked as long. I’d say it was about average, nothing special. We also ordered the Jack Daniels BBQ wings and Buffalo Band wings. We didn’t care much for the BBQ, but the Buffalo Band flavor was good. While they’re local and easy to get to, it’s likely not a place we’ll order from often because it just doesn’t have the potential to become a favorite in our household. UPDATE: I was contacted by Hometown Pizzeria with an opportunity to have a second chance to try their dinner again as they have made some positive changes to their products and food prep since I left my initial review. I did see some improvements and appreciated their customer service. Thanks!
