Dan and Cassandra offer great wines in beautiful surroundings. They are also extremely gracious, as they confirmed today. A jerk customer was upset, yelling about being asked to show his ID and complaining that he only received a tiny sample of each wine (the bozo apparently isn’t aware that «wine tasting» doesn’t mean getting as much as you want for no extra charge). Dan tried hard to mollify the guy, but he stormed out yelling over his shoulder that he would never come back. The way they handled this guy showed a lot of class.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Durst Winery!!! Cassandra and the entire crew ALWAYS make you feel like family!!! I dare you to leave without getting a big hug from someone that works there. You feel instantly at home in this beautiful setting.
I’m very excited about the wonderful upcoming events. Bucci Ball, wine paring classes, cooking demonstrations … And all so close to home!!!
And hands down-​best sparkling wine EVER!!!

I love Durst. My roommates are wine club members so we come for most of their events. They host awesome events with food, live music, and lots of good wine often!
I came in this week to taste with a friend and they were great about letting us hang out with their dogs and chill in the tasting room all afternoon by the fire. I’ve never had a bad experience at Durst and will continue to be a loyal customer as long as I live in Sacramento.

I think this is my new favorite winery in the Lodi area! We loved that they are open 7 days a week; it meant we could go on our day off early last week. Everybody in the tasting room was super friendly and we enjoyed all of the wines we tried. At the end of our tasting my girlfriend and I decided to buy some of the food they have for sale and sat outside to eat. We bought the Pinot Noir to enjoy outside with lunch and also left with the Chardonnay, Sparkling Wine and Amada Mia Red. The grounds were perfect for a relaxing day off and the wine made everything even better. We didn’t sign up for their wine club but definitely regret it… I think we will be back to join this weekend. All in all, you definitely need to go visit this hidden gem soon!

Wines are good but nothing spectacular. Kind of pricey but not outrageous. Beautiful grounds even with the dog who aggressively begs.
My issue with this place is when my wife and I were there the owner pretty much treated one of her employees like she was an idiot. That employee was treating us and a few others very well. In fact we were thinking of joining the wine club until that happened.
I’d rather spend my money elsewhere.

Such a relaxing day at Durst. Incredible wines and amazing ambiance! If you’re having a stressful day, I highly recommend you sit outside with some salami and cheese and one of their wonderful bottles of wine, perfection…

Good wines. Friendly staff. Perfect winery to hang out and even bring the whole family. There was live music and plenty of space for kids to run around. There are balls for playing too. The owner lives on the property with her black lab, who likes to personally great everyone.

Yummy wine, great atmosphere, and nice hospitable people. You can tell they are truly passionate about their winery. They have a beautiful tasting room and also outside patio seating. There was no rush during the tasting and we were encouraged to hang out to enjoy the live music, patio area and resident dog with a game of fetch. They were so nice we ended up joining their wine club. Cheers!

First time here and I feel very welcomed! We came to wine taste, and brought some food for a picnic. They offered us a table on the patio and brought out the wine to us. The yard is beautiful, and they have a musician to keep us entertained. Definitely try their Chardonnay and the Mohr-​Fry Home Ranch Old Vine Zin!!!

Great wine at reasonable prices, and beautiful property! The staff were very friendly and accommodating! My boyfriend and I brought a picnic, and the staff offered to do our tasting at the picnic table! They have a variety of wines, so there is something for everyone’s taste here.

High pressure sales… wow! I went here with a friend for wine and chocolate weekend 2015 thinking this would be a nice place to come sip some wine and relax. There were at least 10 vendors with tables set up selling miscellaneous things such as purses, popcorn, jewelry, Tupperware etc. These vendors wouldn’t leave us alone so that we can do what we came there for, taste wine. Even as I was walking out the door someone was following me trying to talk me into buying something before I left. I couldn’t enjoy the wine and don’t remember the wine at all, all I remember is trying to get away from the random sales people. Durst winery made a bad impression on me, it would probably be a good idea for them to not allow any outside vendors at their events and let the consumers see what their WINE is about.

I don’t often write reviews, but this was so wonderful, I had to share. I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon Durst this past weekend! The ladies at m2 told us to check them out, and I’m so glad they did (thank you!) The tasting room has only been open a few weeks and I’m sure this will quickly become a favorite wine stop for many. The grounds are lovely, I especially loved the adirondack chairs on the patio and the beautiful bar. Besides the wine being delicious, the hospitality really stood out to me. We had the privilege of chatting with Cassandra who ended up giving us hugs as we left. Truly a kind, enthusiastic and knowledgeable person who you can just tell loves what she does. We will be back again soon, maybe this time with a group of friends, a picnic or our puppy (all of which she said are always welcome). Thank you for a wonderful visit!
