Except from The White House in Atlantic City these are the best subs ever!

My sister and her husband go every year for his birthday and love it, so I decided to come back, having not been in about 6 years. My son and I stopped and grabbed 2 ch. stks to go with fries. Delicious, fresh, awesome, reminded me a lot of White House! Am waiting now for my other son to pick up our order for our Sunday movie night. Can’t wait, it’s only been a week and we had to get these subs again!

Just stopped by here because of good reviews as I’m staying in area for a couple day. The staff is nice but the large cheesesteak was awful. For $ 16 you get to chew rubber. I don’t know what previous reviewers were talking about. Cheese was barely melted and the meat slices were stacked one on top of the other. They should at least separate the slices and chop/​shred them! I even suspect they came pre-​cooked. Bread was ok, but more like a baguette. Not what is expected 45 minutes from Philly.

Great service and pretty tasty veggie sub (I got a half sub with provolone and green peppers). A half sub is definitely filling, I can’t imagine being able to complete a whole one. I’m knocking this down to 3 stars because of my boyfriend’s order. He ordered a fried chicken parm sub and he was sick the rest of the night. He said it tasted fine when he ate it but clearly it didn’t agree with him. He said 1 star, I said 4 stars, so we settled on 3. Id recommend the veggie subs and curly fries, I just can’t recommend the fried chicken parm sub.

Absolutely loved my experience here the past weekend. After driving for about three hours, all we wanted was a filling snack before going to the movies. Sack O’ Subs hit the spot! Service was great, the half subs we ordered were very filling, the fries were perfect and the price was very affordable. I only have good things to say! We ordered the turkey sub and a cheese-​steak, which were both very good. I highly recommend this spot.

Stopped here a few weeks ago while on a work trip for a quick bite to eat. Service was super friendly and speedy. Ordered a «half» cheesesteak which to my surprise was HUGE! Can’t imagine what the «full» size looked like!
Simple, clean, quick, and to the point. All characteristics I love in a place to eat.

This is my favorite place for subs in the area. I have been eating at this chain since I was a kid in Ocean City. The quality of the meat and bread is top shelf. I recommend everyone give this place a shot. You won’t regret it.

Fast, friendly, and delish. What else needs to be said? I always recommend the grilled mushroom and provolone sub with raw onions, lettuce, and tomato. Yum, and vegetarian friendly! Also, the Italian subs are delish too. What makes or breaks a sub for me is the bread… and trust me, this is no Wawa bread. Go here!

Good value for the money. Shared a half meatball and half cheese steak and chicken with wild rice soup. The soup was excellent. The subs were ok. Agreed that the bread was good and the half size was more than adequate. Onion rings were very good. overall, a decent stop on the way home via the Garden State Parkway.

The best subs in the AC area. Every time we are passing through, we stop here. The bread is delicious and makes the sub! I always get the cheese steak and its always prepared perfectly. I seriously crave these subs.

Leaving ac, my gf and I wanted done real sandwiches, not the wawa kind. Passing along back to the gsp, she looked over and pointed to the sack of Subs and said what about that place? Seeing it many times but never stopping, I checked Unilocal and all good reviews so we made the uturn to check it out. We were greeted immediately, and ordered the Chicken Cesar sub (as per great reviews on Unilocal) and a chicken parm sub. Well the subs rocked, they weren’t huge in size, but they were just right. The bread was awesome to start, and I could tell how fresh the chicken in the Cesar sandwich was. Overall very delicious and filling. I like the chicken parm too but the Cesar was the winner. Didn’t try anything else but these sandwiches hit the spot. Prices are average with most other sub places, no problems parking either. Definitely hitting this place us next time I’m the area to try the other stuff on the menu.

Sack O’ Subs is my favorite spot to get a sandwich in Jersey. The Chicken Cesar is my top Pick. Delicious sub! The French bread is amazing! Very affordable price. Wonderful Customer service, I don’t know the gentlemen who always makes it for me but he remembers me which is thoughtful.
I love Sack O’ Subs, always makes for a delicious Lunch that satisfies my appetite.

When ever I want a turkey/​cheese sub I head to the best sack o subs!

Pretty good subs. yeah the bread is pretty good. the 6″ sub is actually pretty huge given how much stuff is stuffed in along with the filling bread, i think the base 6″ sub starts at $ 6 or so and goes up depending on what you get. I had their default option for dinner and it was plenty to fill me up. i showed up at 7:59 pm just as they were getting ready to close (close at 8 on weekdays except friday) and was in the mildly embarassing situation of having to go to my car to grab a bunch of dimes and nickels and pennies and quarters to have enough to pay for my sub since they had already closed out the debit/​credit card machine, but they were pretty patient with the situation which i appreciated.

If you look around the South Jersey area there are only a few sub shops that stand out. Sack O’ Subs ranks very high on that list. You cannot go wrong with Sack O’ Subs no matter what sandwich you order.

One of the keys to Sack O’s making such a good sandwich is their bread. They get their bread from Formica Brothers and if you live in the area you know what that means. It’s a delicious, crusty, soft italian bread that goes perfect with a sub.
Look, you can drive into Atlantic City and go to White House and get a Tuna or Italian if you want to, but you’re going to get as good if not better sub from Sack O’s. Just check it out, you won’t be disappointed.
