I enjoyed my experience today at Fear Factor. Setting up an appointment with Robert was super easy. Richard was my artist and he explained what he thought would look best and did an excellent job. I wasn’t expecting to be so happy with a tattoo but I totally am. Richard took his time on every detail and was very focused on his work. There’s even a sign to not disturb Richard while he is tattooing because he’s so focused!!! Mark, the other artist tattooed my wife at the same time and did an excellent job as well. I just overall enjoyed my experience. The lady who does piercings (missed her name) took well over fifteen minutes to explain in detail to a young lady how a dermal piercing works. She explained in detail what she would do and how to take care of the piercing. There’s no reason to go to any other tattoo shop in Abilene because THIS is the ONE!!!

Had a tattoo done many years ago from a different artist in a different state and I was never happy with it. Finally made the decision to get a cover up. Went to Fear Factor and talked to Richard. We discussed what I want and my ideas. Richard was up front and gave an honest opinion about what would and wouldn’t work for my cover up. Paid a deposit and then set an appointment. Richard was extremely professional, charged by the hour and when he wasn’t working, the timer stopped. He got down for 5 hours and I believe he could have sat there for several more, but I was reaching my tolerance. He’s not heavy handed and I am absolutely impressed with the work he’s done. I have maybe one more sitting to do some detailing that I wouldn’t have been able to sit through.

Great experience at Fear Factor! They worked with what seemed like an impossible time frame and excelled! Mark did my piece and it came out amazing and above my expectations! Everyone there made a lasting impression and anytime I’m in Abilene I will definitely come by. Richard has a great crew! Look forward to returning in the future. Recommend to ALL!!!

Richard is a great artist and his assistant does amazing work as well. He’s a really cool guy and is very good at keeping you calm while he works. He’s light handed so it makes the pain that much less. My tattoo has perfect line thickness and the pain and redness is almost completely unnoticeable. This tattoo will probably heal up very clean. Go to this guy, he’s friendly and his shop is very clean and professional. This man loves his job. Don’t forget to tip them!

Awesome place to get a tattoo.
Besides his work being excellent he’s very professional.
He made sure he understood exactly what I wanted but offered up many suggestions as how go make my tattoo look it’s best.
I will definitely only be returning to this shop and will keep recommending it to everyone I know.
Many tattoo artist seem to have a «tough guy image» to keep up. But this man is truly just an artist who loves his job.

I took my 16 year old daughter to get her belly button pierced. They did an awesome job and were very professional! Also very personable and friendly. Misty really knows her stuff! I’ll be going back to get a tattoo for sure!

There is nothing this man cannot do. They are very professional and detailed oriented. I have had two tattoos done and my wife has had one and Richard always exceeds our expectations. There is no way I would allow anybody else to tattoo me.
