I should have known it wasn’t good when it looked like a ghost town at noon on a Tuesday. Food is way overpriced. Quantity over quality. Yea they put a lot of meat on a sandwich but it is very low quality meat. They will never get my business again. I expected a lot considering how few hits they are open.

Pricey! For a couple pieces of white bread(sourdough), a few pieces of turkey, a couple pieces of avocado, some cheese and thousand island dressing. I got the Oklahoma kid. I like the atmosphere and most people appear to be regulars here. The sandwich was good. I just wish it had more turkey and avocado. The cookies are 4 stars:) ! Get a cookie :).

I’ve had their food a few times through Arrowhead Delivery. I’ve never been in so I thought I’d try today. I suppose 11am is early, but I was the only customer… with 4 employees behind the counter gabbing away. The sandwiches are delicious and the prices are great.

Personal favorite lunch stop. Great atmosphere. The owner is a great guy and attentive to his customers. The Three on a Match is a must. Bogies is only open for lunch, and around the noon rush the line can almost reach all the way back to the entrance.

Just got them for lunch today… needless to say not only do I not have lunch, but I also won’t be ordering from here again. The lettuce is wilted, old and tastes really bad… almost soapy. It’s gross and unedible. Guess I better visit our snack machine. –_–

I like to support small, local business as much as the next guy, but I can’t stand behind this one. I would have given just one star if it weren’t for the service. The owner or whomever was running front of house was very kind. The food, however, was simply no good. The patty was bland and miniscule. The bun was store bought and dry and I hate Lay’s, which for some reason counts as a side. I get what their try to do with the late 50s theme, but the building could use an update for sure.

My sandwich was good & tasty. Not very big though, not filling. The both of us ate for $ 21, which isn’t to bad… But then again two sandwiches for $ 21 is a bit much… Over all, its good food if your not very hungry and need something light and don’t mind paying $ 10 for just one sandwich.

Every time I come to Abilene(holidays), I eat here as much as possible. Everything is so delicious, I can never choose just one sandwich. Only complaint is that the sandwiches are small and overpriced, but WORTHIT.

I’ve been wanting to check this sandwich shop out and a few days ago I did. I ordered the Oklahoma kid which is chicken breast, thousand island, avocado, on a sour dough bread. I actually like the idea of chips with my sandwich instead of the same typical fries you get anywhere else in town and a pickle to go with. The sandwich it self was very tasty but I wish their was more meat I found myself hungry for more and taking bites of my sons grill cheese. The bread needed something… maybe spread some butter on with a few seconds on the grill to get a crunchy texture. I got a bite of my hubby’s sandwich(chained lightning) very good. The chips that came with my meal were ruffles good, but wish they had more of a selection and what’s up with the baked lays being 40 cents extra(no bueno). Overall I love the concept and supporting local businesses but the idea of paying for something I can make at home??? …hmmm If I’m ever in the area I will give this another shot and try something else.

Bogie’s has quite a large menu of sandwiches. Great location if you work downtown. Service was fast and staff friendly. My sandwich was quite good, but not big enough to fill me up. If I’m downtown, I’ll be back.

Cool concept. One of the few lunchtime choices in the area. Good food at a decent price. The Big Shot and chained lightning are two of my favorites — both are very tasty. All the sandwiches come with potato chips but you can substitute pretzels.

Great sandwiches with a classic theme! The sandwich combos are as unique as Bogart’s persona. An Abilene original, you’ll certainly want to play it again.
