Peony Garden

Solid 4 stars. This a take-​out place so don’t expect to eat in and enjoy the atmosphere, however their portions are large and they don’t skimp you on meat. I’ve been a repeat customer and plan to continue this as long as they don’t change their portion sizes. Recommended.

Good ol’ Chinese takeout food. It’s not anything fancy but it’ll hit the spot when you’re looking for reliable Chinese lunch/​dinner. The owner is very friendly. They have tables there for eat in but the place is kind of greasy, so I usually get takeout and eat it at home. Family owned place.

After being extremely disappointed in the Chinese Food in this County, I decided to give it another shot since delivery options are pretty limited in Aberdeen. After learning that chow mein in this area lacks noodles even though it translates to stir-​fried noodles, I’ve tried other noodle dishes. I’ve ordered the beef mei fun and the crispy beef. The food took a while to deliver but that is expected. The mei fun was pretty tasteless and was composed of mostly noodles with some beef and beef. The crispy beef was pretty good though definitely not chinese. Decent for Americanized Chinese though I’ve had better. My standards are high after living in S. CA most of my life so I may be too critical~.
