Some time ago we felt a need, a need for something more intimate, something more human, more authentic and more appealing; something above and beyond the usual travel offers. We wanted to be «not just a tourist» but to be able to delve into the realities of the country we were to be visiting, leaving our cameras aside and opening our eyes to see up close all the small, fundamental details that go by unnoticed on tours where the route is too travelled or because to the guide these golden nuggets of culture and identity are insignificant.

And so after reflecting on our many travels in different countries and by different means, the idea for this initiative came to us. We reached the conclusion that though we may all live under the same blue sky and that our hearts beat just the same way as the locals do, their emotions are not the same nor do they show them in the same manner and that the good times and the bad are experienced differently from place to place.
