Here it is, two weeks until we leave Sevilla, and I’m JUST getting a grocery routine down. For the longest, we went to El Corte Ingles, and it’s true, it’s a great spot if you want beautiful produce, meats, frozen pizzas(which seem to be all the rage here), smoked salmon, and the like, but sometimes you want a close neighborhood place where you can run in and buy a few things. Dia is that place. It’s true, it’s not glamorous. It’s also true that there is often only one line open, and that the way the store is arranged makes no sense whatsoever. It’s also true that some of their veggies look like they have seen better days. But — if you need olives or tuna or eggs or an onion — Dia is the place. And the prices are cheap.
