Plaza Conde Valle Suchil

I am reviewing the Dog park that is located within this plaza (park) it’s a very small space for the number of dogs that come in daily. The gate is broken, there are holes on the ground which they can be dangerous for people. (dogs sees them) but what I really dislike is the mix of small and large dogs all together. I have to say Spaniards don’t know or understand that for puppies this is a dangerous situation. I experienced several fights between big dogs and puppies in the middle crying to get out of there. Do you know what was the people’s answer to that? «aw, they have to learn, get along» I left that place after arguing with some of humans who hit their dogs several times to call them down. I think some Spaniards just don’t know how to educate a dog. They treat them awful and I just could take that. Horrible horrible. If you care about your bff DO NOT come to this dog park. It’s ugly and the ppl just don’t care.

Le tengo un especial cariño a esta plaza, porque si bien es verdad que hay en Madrid otras más bonitas, ésta tiene un encanto especial, con sus parterres llenos de plantas, sus árboles y los bonitos edificios que la rodean en la parte más cercana a la calle Alberto Aguilera. Me fascina especialmente el arco sobre la calle Rodríguez San Pedro que atraviesa uno de los edificios y que posee un espíritu histórico que me encanta.
Es un remanso de paz en medio de Chamberí, ideal para descansar tomando el sol en alguno de sus muchos bancos, y si hace hambre tal vez tomarse un bocadillo comprado en algún sitio de los alrededores, o sentarse en alguna terraza de las cafeterías aledañas.
Cuando se acerca el buen tiempo la plaza está a rebosar de niños que corretean y juegan en su área infantil y de dueños de perros socializándose en la zona de esparcimiento para canes.
