Starbucks

While traveling in Europe for a few weeks, my kids and I needed a little taste of home (US). We found the closest thing at this Starbucks. The muffins were large and delicious, the croissants flaky and the yogurt with granola the way we expect it.
The staff were lovely and their English far exceeded our Spanish or Catalan (a low bar, to be sure). They were exceedingly patient with my chaotic crew of young ones and my associated frazzle. When I wanted my usual, simple-by-U.S.-standards coffee with a bit of milk, but not a latte, I was assured, essentially, «Do not worry. We will take care of it.» And they did.

This review won’t be long. There’s not a lot to say about the place; it’s a Starbucks! As they go this one us well located, spacious and has free wifi. It’s a handy spot to get a coffee slightly away from the main area of las Ramblas but not so far that you have to go out of your way for it. Given that most of the local places nearby are the usual sandwich/​panini type places, knowing there’s a familiar chain nearby can come in quite handy!

La qualité Starbucks, la touché espagnole en plus! Personnel accueillant et souriant, j’y suis allé durant la période des fêtes et je peux vous dire que leur cafés de Noël sont géniaux, orange et chocolat cette année, un régal!

Starbucks is usually my last choice for a place to grab coffee in the States, but in Barcelona I was having trouble finding a good place to do some work and grab coffee. There are a lot of great coffee shops, but none of them look like they will appreciate me hanging out there for a couple of hours on my laptop.
That’s where this Starbucks is great. They have comfy couch seats and free wifi. It’s also in a cool alleyway that provides good people watching while you work and sip on your coffee.
My only complaint is that the wifi code only works for 45 minutes. You can enter the same code again after your time runs out, but this gets annoying if you plan on staying there for multiple hours.

J’en garde de bons souvenirs bien que je n’ai jamais trouvé leurs laits au chocolat particulièrement extraordinaires. On paye la marque, mais ça vaut le coup.

Yo no aparezco en un Starbucks ni arto de vino, lo que escribe pepechan está en total acierto. No hay más que decir.

My sister and I are a couple of typical British girls, so we really love our tea!
Whilst feeling a little homesick, we were excited to spot a Starbucks off La Ramblas.
The staff were friendly, and patient with my poor Spanish! However, we were disappointed that they didnt have english breakfast.
Earl Grey was fine, and the croissants looked like giant crabs! Lovely!

Wunderbar für Frühaufsteher und richtig leckerer Kaffee (Starbucks halt g).

Super zentral und guter Service. Nur die Toiletten sind alles andere als empfehlenswert.

Einfach nur super.
Direkt an der Ramblas.
Wie immer einer leckerer Kaffee und dazu nen schönes Sandwich zum wach werden.

Starbucks is a lovely, elegant place to stop and have a rest.
In Barcelona there are several of them and they are all very clean, nice and friendly.

Cafetería que se encuentra a varias lugares de Barcelona y otras ciudades. Es ideal para quedarse una tarde de invierno, ya que no hay demasiado ruido, se está caliente, sirven todo tipo de cafés y meriendas y se ve la ciudad a través de los cristales.
