Tienda de decoración y restaurante cafetería en uno solo, el local es muy mono, algo lógico y normal por otro lado si eres un diseñador reputado.
Si tuviese que valorarlo por los momentos «merienda» le pondría 4* pero el servicio de comida se queda más bien en las 3*. Las tartas que tienen están muy buenas, la de limón y merengue es de las mejores y la de plátano y toffee también, además tienen una buena selección de té de mariage fréres. Es una opción tranquila y agradable para ir a desayunar o merendar con una amiga, en cambio a la hora de comer ya se llena más y la comida no está tan conseguida.
Otro problemilla es la lentitud del personal, agradables mucho si, pero lentos a otro nivel… 3 mesas ocupadas, 4 camareros y 15 minutos de espera para que nos viniesen a pedir. De todas maneras lo que me desagradó enormemente es que incluyan el 10% de propina (opcional) en el tiquet. Odio esa costumbre americana que lo único que hace es que al final los camareros tengan sueldos ínfimos y tengan que vivir de las propinas y de esa manera el empresario se evite pagar sueldos decentes a costa del comensal. Lo siento pero tenía que decirlo.
En resumen, muy buen sitio para merendar pero justillo para comer o cenar.

5 stars for their lemon tart, and desserts in general — never had a meal there! The lemon tart is a true beast: its salted crunchy almond cookie crust, tangy and sour lemon filling and the sweet merengue… heavenly! The best! I wouldnt want to have lunch or dine there as I don’t see dining as their strong point. However I do keep returning for something sweet…

Local decorado con mucho gusto (es del reconocido interiorista Jaime Beriestain). El ambiente es tranquilo y el servicio muy bueno.
Tiene varios ambientes, encontrándose el restaurante propiamente al fondo del local. A la entrada hay varias mesas donde también se puede comer o cenar, pero que por la tarde son ideales para merendar, que es a lo que fui yo. Pedimos una tarta de praliné y otra de limón y merengue. Buenísimas las dos. No exagero si digo que son de los mejores pasteles que he probado. No es ecónomico, pero vale mucho la pena. Una tarta individual y un té o zumo sale por unos 10 €.
Ni que decir tiene que repetiré, tanto para merendar como para cenar y así poder probar su cocina.

Found this place on TA when planning out our shopping day in Barcelona. One of the few that have a gluten sensitive menu and that’s open on a Sunday. The restaurant has amazing style and flair. Very upscale/​modern beach house style. Service was very solid and the good was pretty good. Bigger portions than expected which put me in a food coma 15 mins later. All and all a great place to have lunch and a must visit if in the area.

Ended up here because it looked nice from the outside and wasn’t far from the hotel: important criteria when it suddenly starts raining! It turned out to have been an excellent choice.
The atmosphere was relaxed, modern and elegant. The chairs were exceptionally comfortable and the waiters made us very welcome. Try the complimentary olive oil, it’s really that good.
Prices are rather high (but in keeping for Barca and fair when compared with the quality on offer and the portion sizes). Had the ribs, which fell off the bone and came with a delicious BBQ sauce and apples (€ 19). The Cava was also first rate (€ 29 — Recaredo Brut Nature).
Only criticism would be that they forgot the drinks ordered for dessert.
Would definitely recommend it and will be back.

If the thought of eating in the middle of an interior design studio/​high-​end housewares and floral shop gives you pause then this place is not for you. If not, join the interior decorator set at this very solid venue. The service was fantastic and the food very good. The innovative continental menu provided a great respite from all the surrounding tapas and Italian establishments. You might even find yourself leaving with fresh flowers or some new dishes. But, then again, I guess that is the point of this so-​termed Concept Store and Restaurant.

Muy mono, pero caro para lo que era, el tataki lo mejor, la tempura muy muy floja y el risotto para mi gusto demasiados «hongos» y la calidad bien, pero 3 platoa y 3 postres 100 € me parece excesivo…

Had a wonderful dinner here, the burger is to die for. Felt like we were eating inside an Anthropologie shop, very cool interior design. Waiters were friendly and spoke great English. Would absolutely go back.

Demasiado tiempo de Espera en General, sin tener prisa es un sitio ideal, si eres autónomo en dia de trabajo olvidate de este sitio. Yo No conseguí tomar un café con leche y una pasta a las 10:00h de la mañana en +30 min de espera y tuve que irme a otro sitio. Habían 4 camareros… Pero sintiéndolo mucho y es mi única critica negativa en Unilocal estaban por otras cosas.

Great refreshing place. Owner very welcoming. Food of high quality ingredients and flavors. For decent price point, makes you feel welcomed and satisfied.

Un bel endroit pour faire une pause.
Outré les traditionnels tapas et plats à la carte vous pourrez y déguster un lunch 3 services pour 15 €. Excellent!
Le personnel est très accueillant.

Just arrived from Paris today and figured we would see what Spain had to offer us for dinner. As always, I bumped on Unilocal to read reviews and couldn’t find anything that caught my eye. Our Hotel recommended Jamie Beriestain so my wife and I decided to try it.
We were very pleased with the selection of wines offered from the various regions in Europe, we were completely impressed with the food and ambiance. Not very often a restaurant can pull it together. My wife and I are from Southern California and I must admit, ambiance sets the tone for the evening experience.
The use of fresh ingredients, perfect seasoning and again offering a dish for every meat lover made this a perfect night for my wife and my children. We ordered the Salmon for Appetizers and it was awesome. My 8 year old son even asked for seconds…
I had the Vegetarian Lasagna, my wife and daughter had the Thai Chicken Noodles, my son had the Bacon Cheese Burger and my two other daughters split the 20+ day dry aged steak. Everything was presented and prepared perfectly. BTW we covered the pork with the prosciutto poppers before dinner. If i’m not mistaken, I think we covered all meat and veggie categories tonight.
I also found out that Jamie is an interior designer and connected a storefront to his restaurant. I must admit, that was pretty clever. Nice work Jaime. I wish you much success with your businesses. I have been to alot of swanky places and I have never seen that done before.
I scored 4 out of 5 because one dish was 7 minutes late and we had to beg for our check — Twice! Outside of those two issues, the service was fantastic.

Very nice place with english speaking waiters in a good neighbourhood. Perfect for a quick lunch or just a drink.

Jaime Beriestain es un espacio grande y decorado con mucho estilo. Es un restaurante pero también es una tienda de decoración y una floristería.
Lo más destacable del local es la elegancia que se desprende en cada rincón. No hay ningún detalle que no esté pensado ni cuidado. Desde la decoración a la comida, pasando por la amabilidad del staff.
Es un auténtico placer para la vista y el paladar, y el ambiente que se genera es muy tranquilo y agradable.
Algo bueno a tener en cuenta, cierran a las 3am, con lo cual es un lugar indicado para ir después del cine o teatro.

Concept store de decoración, libros, floristería y un montón de detalles para regalar y autoregalarse. Cafetería restaurante en un ambiente con guiños retro que le da mucho encanto. Mesa central alargada para compartir a cualquier hora. Me pido la que está junto a la gran cristalera con vistas a Pau Claris para ver pasar la gente y compartir una bonita tarde con alguna persona especial. Para ver y ser vistos.
