Great coffee, delicious breakfast, and affordable. Just a few minutes away from the ramble, but away from the madness.

Good service. Trendy location and atmosphere. Food was good. They had some American style dishes. Their home made granola and yogurt was great and their home made sodas were also great.

So good. Highly recommend!
So the lowdown:
1. Café is great. Artsy and hip. Not too big but plenty of seating for people. The location’s a little nondescript but once you find it, you would expect it to be in Los Angeles in downtown or some ultra hipster spot.
2. Ordered the eggs benedict with the cured pork slice and my wife had the huevos rancheros. I will say that the eggs were given an extra dose of savory/​saltiness with the pork slice (bone is included, by the way, so you need to slice around it) but it was one of the most delicious things I’ve ever had. I usually make it a point to order eggs benedict wherever I go and this is probably one of my top five in eggs benedict. Wife liked her huevos rancheros but found it a little bland.
3. I really enjoyed the coffee here! This was one of our first breakfast spots in Barcelona and my expectations for coffee in Europe were high, and this place did not disappoint. My wife loved her latte that she ordered.
4. The staff are English speaking and made ordering super easy. Very friendly, really nice, and very attentive. (Unlike Federal Café. You can look at my review there if you need to know more.)
All in all, go here for a great breakfast experience! Wish I could have tried their beers or juices but perhaps the next time we come to Barcelona we will try this place again.

Unreal brunch, had avocado, goats cheese and tomato on toast and french toast with berries and mascarpone. Both were delicious and really filling! Wish we had more time to come back again!

The food was delicious for brunch and the beer was the best I have had in Barcelona. However, I have never experienced worse service. Tables who entered the restaurant received their drinks and food and paid before we even got our menus (after asking for them about six times). Every time we asked our server for something (to order, for menus, for the check) we were told to hold on. Brunch lasted about 2 hours when we saw tables enter and leave in 45 minutes. To top everything off a waiter spilled water on my bag and table and rather than apologizing and wiping it himself he threw a stack of napkins on the table and left.

We came for lunch and ordered the tuna poke bowl, a burger and chocolate mousse. I’m going with four stars because it took 35 – 40 minutes to get food but everything tasted phenomenal! We were happy the wait was worth it. I liked the poke so much, I’ll probably have it again before we leave! My boyfriend’s burger looked drool-​worthy and he said it’s the best he’s ever had. Bonus points for good fries and dessert. Highly recommend!

This place is a cute café just off the beaten path. Loved how «local» it felt and the employees were really nice.
Scrambled eggs with avocado and feta mash — loved the seasonings and avocado mash. The thyme seasoning added a great flavor to the dish!
Huevos rancheros — yum!
OJ — fresh!
Latte — delicious!
Everything here was really good. Their portions are large, for me anyway, so maybe try sharing or splitting a dish with someone.

If you’re looking for a brunch place around La Rambla, look no further! This quaint restaurant doubles as a nano-​brewery and turns out some delicious food as well. My housemate and I ordered the french toast and poached eggs with smashed avocado. My housemate loved the use of fresh berries on the french toast instead of just a compote, however the whipped cream was slightly excessive (nothing you can’t push to the side). My poached eggs were fantastic. The use of dill really made meal pop compared to similar meals you might see in trendy brunch spots. The bloody mary was also very good. I prefer my bloodys spicy however, I enjoy the blast of citrus from the lemon and lime included in the drink. The only downside was i was excited for the «house pickles» that came with the bloody but they were non-​existent.
Overall, the staff was very friendly and happy to talk about the city we were exploring. The restaurant itself was very well designed and free wi-​fi is always a plus. My biggest regret was not returning for dinner after reading some of the reviews. Would love to return if I’m ever back in Barca.

Wanted a great spot for Saturday brunch and this place was above and beyond our expectations. It seems to be always full, but we only waited around 10 minutes till we were seated! The food was incredible, along with the coffee and fresh juice! Highly recommend!

We were for brunch on Sunday … You should either reserve or accept the wait… Place is nice and laid back, all food we had was great.

Already want to go back. The huevos racheros were delicious. Great flavor on the beans. The poached egg over avo+feta mash is out of this world. I want it everyday for the rest of my life, and I eat avo toast every day. The sangria takes a bit, but is unique and stronger than it seems. Want to go back to try more

I’m normally not a big brunch guy, but my fiancée loves the stuff. She rolled her eyes with delight at her guyere baked eggs (with leeks, cream, lemon zest, spinach and toast — 8.50 €).
I had the french toast (9.50 €). It was fine, but I’ve had french toast before.
We also sampled the coconut bread (4.50 €) and it was pretty good.
Our server was very nice. She spoke with an English accent, which I didn’t expect in Spain.
The venue itself is typical brunch chic. Pastel colors, reclaimed wood, chalkboards, that kind of thing. They do have wi-​fi, so it’s a comfortable place to crash if you want to get away from Las Ramblas for a while.
I wish we could have come back for lunch or dinner since I read great things about their tacos and burgers.

Good for brunch/​lunch, stay home for dinner. I went with a few co-​workers for lunch and it was mind blowing good — as in Southern California Mexico flavor good. I was shocked, even my Spaniard co-​worker who lived a number of years on the Yucatan side of Mexico was surprise on the familiar Mexican flavors that one just doesn’t come across in Barcelona. Everything was perfect about it. They advertise as brewing their own beer, which was okay. Curing their own meat — that was good. And, bottling their own soda products — which tasted good but it all had a flavor of ginger in it.
For that same reason, I then took my wife to dinner a few days later. Unfortunately, it was severely underwhelming. Tacos were cold, tasted lifeless, even the desert missed the same beat as during lunch hour.
Recommend: Visit during the day time hours — the menus are different and the flavors seem to be on this menu (opposed to the night menu).

Amazing service (Hola Juan!) and amazing food :) probably one of the top 3 burgers I ever had (and I had a few ;))

Lugar muy interesante para ir a cenar. Productos de primera calidad y a precios económicos. A los carnívoros les encantará. Ojo con la hamburguesa que es doble !

De camino al MACBA paramos en el Caravelle, que tenía muy buena pinta en su estética pero que, además, ofrece una selección de cafés de origen realmente envidibale. Dicen que los desayunos y el brunch también están muy bien, pero no tuve la suerte de poder disfrutarlos.
En nuestro caso la experiencia fue más bien sencilla: llegamos, vimos la variedad de café, le pedimos al camarero dos flat white y recuperamos energías de nuestro paseo y turisteo por Barcelona. El café estaba muy rico, yo diría que en su punto exacto.
Vi pasar alguna hamburguesa de alguien que o bien estaba comiendo tarde o cenando a horario guiri muy temprano, pero vamos, que tenía muy buena pinta. Probablemente sea una de las mejores alternativas cafeteras de la zona, que viendo como estuvo el panorama por Barcelona, tampoco es algo que sea demasiado difícil, como en el resto de España…

Un domingo cualquiera con antojo de un brunch reconstituyente, nos decantamos por probar este famoso local del Raval. Se trata de un pequeño local con alma de antiguo almacén o quizás pequeño taller. Casi todas las mesas ocupadas y nos tocó justo debajo de la alacena de la cocina. La joven camarera nos trajo las cartas rápidamente y nos dejó para que lo pensáramos… pensamos, esperamos y seguíamos pensando y esperando. Llevábamos más de 20 min sin que nos volviese a atender nadie cuando por fin pudimos cazar un camarero que nos tomó nota y entusiasmados volvimos a esperar, esperar y esperar… Los cafés los sirvieron enseguida de ordenarlos, por lo que cuando nos sirvieron la comida 1h y 15min después ya apenas quedaba café o estaba frío.
Yo me pedí unos huevos clementine con bacon y patatas, que la verdad no estaban mal apesar de que la tostada estaba quemada y dura. Pero la verdadera sorpresa estubo en el plato de mi acompañante que pidió unos huevos rancheros verdaderamente picantes. No el picante sabroso que le da un toque más a la comida, no, estaba al nivel de Homer Simpson en la feria del chily. Me soprendió bastante ya que se supone que un brunch es para «desayunar», no se a quien le puede apetecer algo tan extremo con el estómago vacío. Para más inri no viene acompañado de pan que mitigue el ardor, por lo que lo tuvimos que pedir e incrementar la cuenta en 3 € más… el precio como el de todos los brunch no es muy económico, pero tampoco exagerado. No volveré porque conozco sitios mejores, pero recomendaría hacer hincapié en el servicio para mejorarlo.

Delicious. Baked eggs and huevos rancheros. You won’t be disappointed. Also, I will be thinking about that Bloody Mary for a long time.

Best brunch I’ve had in Barcelona, even over some of the other highly recommended places I’ve been.
Dirty chai latte was out of the park, as was the Huevos Rancheros which was their own take on this dish but I was everyone else did it this way!
Also had the avocado toast with tomato and a poached egg, which I would also recommend.
Good service overall, would 100% go back

Barcelona can be strange culinarily speaking because it’s a city obsessed with tapas. So, I was very happy to be introduced to Caravelle from an expat I met.
The interior looks to be more coffee shop than restaurant, but starting at 7pm their kitchen opens. I ordered the roasted chicken with Israeli salad and a creamy lemon sauce. For a side I got the bulgur wheat salad with grapes and goat cheese. Both were very tasty. Dessert was «banana split» which was more of a banana fosters with salted caramel, chocolate, and vanilla ice cream.
I would like to thank Caravelle for daring to be different in a city that is drowning in sad tired tapas establishments.

Overrated. Intento rebuscado de forzar un plato y darle un toque original que no resulta. Platos que suenan y se ven bien, pero con mezcla de sabores que no cuadran. No está mal del todo, pero los hay mejores. No volveré.

This review is only for the coffee. We got an Americano with milk on the side & a latte. Both were pretty darn tasty! I think a lot of it has to do with the creamy, delicious European milk that is not available in the States. For not having a drip option, the Americano really hit the spot. It was not watery or bland like the others I’ve had — perhaps it’s the beans they use? It’s more of a dark, smokey roast which is what I love.

One of the probably few places on earth, where preparation still takes time and is done with love to every small detail;
Perfectly fresh, presented nicely, perfect taste. None of the dishes are like you expect them. The kitchen genius has a surprise enhancement for everything!

‚Me declaro admiradora de la estética del local, de los platos uqe vi pasar y no caté desgraciadamente, de la barra y su pizarra de goma como las de toda la vida. De su cafetera Marzocco y sobre todo de su café.
Iced coffee con leche de avena (creo que de soja no tienen), que entró de maravilla en una calurosísima tarde de sábado.
3 € el café (un pelíiiin pequeñito para mi gusto) + 0,20 € por la leche de avena (bio, eso sí).

Un pequeño local con rollo hispter, buena atención y mejor ambiente, sobre todo a la hora del brunch
Su carta, corta, pero con muy buenas sugerencias que se pueden acompañar con cerveza artesana
Los huevos revueltos con salsa de aguacate y queso feta con menta y cilantro impresionantes

Un lugar para ir un Domingo a comer un buen brunch, cambian el menú todas las semanas así que puedes ir dos veces en un mes y encontrar algo totalmente distinto pero igual de bueno! He quedado flechado con con un pan de plátano con miel de chocolate que estaba alucinante! Cuando fui por otro ya no tenían más :(Muy buena atención y bonito lugar

El café. Fue lo primero que probé nada más llegar. Y a partir de ahí quería probarlo todo!! incluso quise otro café, pero no me dejé a mí misma para así asegurarme de volver! La comida también es muy buena, mezcla sabores acertando siempre. El plato con garbanzos estaba buenísimo y también las setas o el bocadillito de pollo. Sin duda un sitio recomendable. Cierto es que lo peor el servicio, poco atento y algo desorganizado. Espero que puedan mejorar este punto pronto.

Lo que mas me sorprendió fue el café. Ya lo había leído en el comentario de Victor, y al probarlo me pareció buenísimo. Tanto que me tomé dos cortados.
El brunch muy bueno también. Los huevos al horno con espinacas (que dicho así no lo habría pedido en mi vida) tenían un sabor muy especial que no se definir, pero distinto. Los huevos escalfados también me sorprendieron por estar acompañados de aguacate con menta y queso feta. Buena y fácil idea a poner en práctica en casa.
Pero lo mejor sin duda, el muffin que tenían encima de la barra cuando llegamos. De lo mejor que he probado. Obligatorio.
También esta bien el local. Estilo vintage pero muy sencillo, nada de estas decoraciones de sifones antiguos y teteras esmaltadas, que ya cansan. Solo lo necesario.
No tan bien el servicio. Amables y atentos, pero un poco caótico…no se porqué, pero este punto empieza a ser habitual. ¿Es que nadie ha visto el programa de Chicote?

4 estrellas me parece mucho, pero 3 me parecería un poco injusto ya que la comida es realmente buena.
Fuimos a hacer brunch y mientras esperábamos en la barra a que llegaran nuestros amigos, nos tomamos un café que estaba realmente bueno.
Pedimos huevos horneados con espinacas, huevos escalfados sobre tostadas con guacamole y una muffin.
Los huevos horneados, estaban muy bien; tenian bastante espinaca y puerro y nata. Los escalfados, el guacamole estaba de muerte! Tenía un poco de queso feta y menta que le daba un toque súper fresco.
La muffin, desde que la tenían sobre la barra me la estaba saboreando! Estaba buenísima, por encima teníà la textura de un crumble pero luego era una muffin.
El pero es el servicio. Fueron atentos, pero fue un poco lento y muy desorganizado, parecía todo un poco caótico principalmente con las bebidas.
En general, un buen lugar para hacer brunch.

El Caravelle merece estar entre los locales con mejor café de Barcelona. Realmente, puedes pedir un macchiato, un capuccino o un espresso y estar seguro que no te va a defraudar. Que en España es mucho decir, por cierto.
Aun siendo un local de moda, es un lugar con una personalidad especial. Tiene un aire hipster que no tienen los locales similares de l’eixample, le otorga una autenticidad especial. Es comun verte rodeado de todo tipo de tribus urbanas, precisamente porque es un local un tanto incalificable.
Wifi gratis. Si, puedes ir con tu laptop a echar la tarde.
Tengo pendiente probar su cocina para completar la quinta estrella.

He ido en Caravelle para una merienda y fue genial. El ambiente es un café moderno, un poco hipster. Tienen wi-​fi gratis. He comido el sandwich de brioche con caramelo salado y era muy, muy exquisito.
Hay menu del medio día si quieres almuerzar. Parece que el brunch de fin de semana está muy bueno también.
