In 2011 two enthusiasts of Barcelona’s magic Gracia district decided to open an establishment that could not be found in its streets. Proposing a place where signature cocktails and creative cuisine mixed together. Alberto Pizarro, Bar Manager of Bobby Gin and winner of the Diageo World Class Competition, is responsible for the creative list of cocktails and gin & tonics. Roger Edo, trained at the prestigious Hoffman School and connoisseur of Mediterranean and Japanese cuisine, successfully achieves that distillates become one more ingredient in all dinners.
Bobby Gin combina coctelería de autor y cocina creativa. Alberto Pizarro, Bar Manager de Bobby Gin y ganador de la World Class Competition organizada por Diageo, se encarga de una creativa carta de cócteles y gin&tonics. Roger Edo, formado en la prestigiosa Escuela Hoffman y gran conocedor de la cocina japonesa, consigue que los destilados sean un ingrediente más en las cenas.

Alberto, 33 years old and born in Barcelona, is not just a bartender. He is a creative person, drawing his ideas in cut crystal and cocktail glasses. Winner of several prestigious cocktail competitions, his most significant achievement has been to be considered the best Spanish bartender in 2011 and to win one of the 5 challenges of the World Class Competition that same year. He adores the world of cocktails, gin distillation and cuisine. And he believes pairing cocktails and food is a great field to investigate. That is exactly what he does.
Alberto no es un bartender. Es un creativo. Sus ideas las dibuja en vasos tallados y copas de cóctel. Ganador de varios y prestigiosos certámenes de coctelería, su logro más destacado fue ser considerado mejor bartender español en 2011 y ganar uno de los 5 challenges de World Class Competition de ese mismo año. Adora la coctelería, la ginebra como destilado y la cocina. Cree que el maridaje es el gran campo a investigar. Él ya lo está haciendo.
