Yay I AM a fan,. For this time of year(fall) it is so beautiful to take a stroll down the little paths surrounded by different kind of colorful trees at the church yard. The view is like a painting where you have the colorful nature with the reddish leaves and at the end on the top of the hill you can see Bispebjerg church(also known as Grundtvigs church). This big piece of a church, collected of yellow bricks, is a rare one of its kind cause it is raised in memory of Grundtvig: a pastor, a theologian, a teacher, a writer and even a politician for a while. Grundtvig lived in the 1800-hundreds in Copenhagen and is relatively unknown internationally, but he is one of the most influential people in Danish history. The church it self is worth a visit to this area. But there are also other reasons: Due to social media and sharing pictures this church yard became very famous because of its trees. So. There is a path located here with these Japanese Cherry trees, and during spring time when the trees blossom, people come from near and far to have glance at this extraordinary view. I am not able to describe the view with words, you have to experience it with your own eyes :) Even though I have lived in Copenhagen my whole life, I had the pleasure to see this view for the first time this spring. If you are in Copenhagen during spring time(or any other season for that matter) or if you live in Copenhagen you should definitely pay this place a visit.

One of the largest cemeteries in Copenhagen, as beautiful as and much less crowded than Assistens cemetery. With many small paths, hidden corners, open lawns and lots of green and flowers in spring and summer it’s perfect for a quiet walk, or for sitting on a bench and taking in the sun. Just please, show a little more respect than the people who use it as a toilet for their dogs — other peoples dead relatives lie buried here.
