One of my favorite places to have coffee the main reason is their coffee is amazing! They roast their own beans so the place always smells incredibly good. The service is always great. The location is amazing just by Norreport. The prices are very decent, the music is good the owner is a great guy! A very cozy place in a cellar with comfy couches and you can even grab a nice veggie sandwich if you are hungry. They share the place with a painter so it is an interesting place to visit and great place for coffee and a nice chat. Definitely recommend it! By the way the have wifi

I ordered the Chemex and the coffee was so good! With plenty of seats and a free and fast wifi, it’s hard to leave this café on a cold winter day. The plus was definitely the warm milk on the side, so our coffee remained hot the whole time. Will come back!

Smooth elegant coffee that warms your body on a cold winter(spring?) day. Served in normal glass or you can choose to be served in a big syphon or chemex. Pretty cool! Plenty of seating available and nice croissants and other sweets that you can choose from.

Went to this place as my sister saw it on a website. Definitely worth it. I’d say the coffee was full of flavour but seeing the way it was brewed intrigued me the most. The member of staff made a mistake with the brewing process but was quick to apologise. The clientele was a mix of local students and tourists looking for a similar experience to myself. Order the thing in the photo because you can get a latte anywhere but few places offer a coffee made in something that looks so freaking cool. It’s very steampunk!

SANFRANCISCO soooooo needs this kind of place! 1) this place makes coffee with the siphon that NO place in SF does yet.(If you know a place in SF, please please let me know!) There are so many cafes in this tiny city, but I came here because of, not only for the coffee but the various ways that they blew. I saw an air press, too by the way! How awesome is that??? I, of course, asked for a cup made by siphon. I kind of walked in when they weren’t quite ready, but they welcomed me anyway. If this were the case in our beloved city, SF, they’ll just give you a stink eye and will tell you to come back in few minutes, not in a friendly manner but rather rudely. Coffee, of course, was delicious and reminded me of the coffee my dad made using his siphon. In my opinion, it’s the best way to bring out the flavor of the coffee!!! I know I’m visiting during the holiday season and unlike in the US, many places closes starting Xmas eve until few days after the Xmas. I couldn’t make it back in time to purchase a bag of coffee beans, but hopefully, I’ll have time to go back on Sunday when they reopen after the holiday. If you happen to be a coffee snob from a city known for its many roasteries, this is a must stop when you are in CPH.

I’m not a coffee lover but I do love cafes so after seeing this place’s high ratings, I decided to drop by. I got the cold brew and I really liked it — it left no weird aftertaste and I actually enjoyed drinking it black(which is rare). The choice of art around the café(especially the bathroom) is interesting and gives the otherwise simple and cosy surroundings a nice twist. It’s a good place to chat with friends and read.

Disclaimer: tourist from Seattle. This was my second coffee of the day and we were quite tired from running around Nyhavn, Amalienborg Palace, and the little mermaid so I needed some caffeine. I normally always have to get lattes and espresso in order to judge coffee houses but the cold brew sounded so much more appealing to me when I went in. We didn’t stay, which was a shame because it looked like a very cute shop that if it was at home in the states, I would probably be there often. Anyways, the shop is cute inside and there’s seating outside and the cold brew was SOGOOD! They definitely know what they’re doing over here. And the worker was really nice. Even when I accidentally stole his spot outside for a picture opp. Oops :)

One of the only places in Copenhagen to get iced lattes and cold brew. The interior feels like it was furnished with the leftovers of a 1980’s elementary school classroom. There’s usually a good soundtrack in the background, and there’s free wifi and ample seating. The wifi speed could be better(3Mb down /1.5Mb up) but it’s standard for what I’ve experienced elsewhere around the city. Most importantly — the iced lattes(~35kr) are excellent!

My boyfriend and I love coffee, and we visited more than a dozen coffee shops in Copenhagen, This was our absolute favorite, and we came here many times. The coffee is amazing, the owner is warm and gracious, the vibe is welcoming and chill, and you can’t beat the location. I will really miss this place!

Nice basement coffee bar offering a great range of brewing methods(espresso/Aeropress/V60/siphon) and a choice of ¾ different beans. They also do cold brew too. Before I write any more, I’m going to give a shoutout to the girl running the place singlehandedly on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn’t *busy busy*, but I saw her taking orders, making tea, and making a siphon all at the same time. Talk about multitasking chops. Although the place doesn’t have so much character, it has a pretty relaxing feel and it was really pleasant with the sun streaming in. I went for an Aeropress brew using El Salvador beans which turned out really nicely — very nicely balanced and well made. It’s not one if you prefer fruitier/floral beans, but it was right on for me. At DKK35 for an Aeropress, it’s in line with what I’d expect in London — not cheap, but undeniably makes a great cuppa. Well worth popping into if you’re in the area.

Great neighborhood café! Unfortunately, the hours are very limited! If you are at Torvehallern, it’s worth walking around the corner to come here. Very nice ambience. Excellent coffee!

I usually come here to buy coffee beans. The staff are friendly and informative, and the quality of the coffee beans second to nome. The seating area is large, and furnished with classic Danish designer furniture from the 1960’s.

The Laboratorium is quite likely my favorite coffee shop. So many reasons I might as well make list to remember my favorites. 1. Gorgeous, original murals decorate the walls of the store. 2. There is free(and on top, fast) free WiFi for everyone. 3. Where oh where else are you going to get a coffee prepared like they did in the XVIII century? 4. All coffee varieties handpicked. 5. 100% natural chai is TODIEFOR. Sometimes you can even bring a bag home. 6. Art expositions on occasion. 7. Eric the owner is such a sweet gentleman. 8. Very comfortable, large layout. 9. Natural rhubarb soda is handmade and great for summer. 10. This is the hangout of a bunch of cool people. 11. Dead roast coffee!!! This good folks do things to coffee it’s likely you’ll never see anywhere else, so it’s a great place to visit if you want something different or are feeling adventurous, but they make perfect lattes and cappuccinos too.

I would vote Bevar’s(see my other review) for café vibe, but definitely Kent Kaffe Lab for their coffee. My oh my their roast is simply divine. I went there twice — 1st time I had a cortado — it was one of the most delicious cortados I’ve ever had in my life. It was smooth to taste and had a sweet lingering finish. These guys know their stuff. 2nd time I had their syphon. I wanted to know more about the method and the barista was very happy to share her insights. I had it with a tiny bit of milk and concluded that it was probably the best coffee I’ve ever had, ever. I could describe the notes to you but you should just go now and try for yourself. The interior design offers a cozy, quiet vibe in which I was able to work efficiently(free wifi included) but also take a few breaks to discover what music they’re putting on in the main room. Overall an excellent experience and a must stop if you’re heading to/coming from Torvehallerne or Nørreport Station.

Cozy place with magnificent cortado. I will be going here from now on. They also have an extensive drip style coffee menu where they employee many diffferent types of equipment at your choice – v60 and syphon, Chemex, Airpress etc. The person making the coffee drinks is smart, efficient and happy to answer questions. The décor is woody and cozy.

A great place to test out all the different brewing methods. They roast their own coffee and the owner is very friendly. Read more about in my post:
