A medieval church of the 1100s! As an American living in California, you dont see things much older than the 1950s! Sitting on top of the hill Sollerod Bakke, I walked here from the Holte train station making my way to Sollerod Kro, the old in turned find dining restaurant which used to house folks that came to this church. Situated next to a pond and a great green area ir was originally built from limestone. Over the years it has expanded in the 1400’s, 1700s, and most recently 1993. That’s just crazy to think about.
