We stopped in for a drink to escape the bitter cold and particularly selected this pub because of the name. We truly wanted to enjoy a Scottish Pub and thought it would bare some resemblance to a read Scottish pub. We were wrong and we were disappointed. On the positive side, the pub’s old-fashioned décor including old wooden floors, cozy booths and wooden bar provided immediate warmth. Another positive was the cold beer and eclectic background music. Unfortunately these positives attributes do not come close to offsetting the negative that will ensure that we will never return to The Scottish Pub. The bartender poured the skimpiest drink I have ever had in any drinking establishment anywhere in the world. For eight United States dollars I received what amounted to two tablespoons of Jameson Irish Whiskey. It was so ridiculous that I pointed it out to the bartender who obviously had heard the complaint before because he immediately responded«alcohol is very expensive in Copenhagen.» I will never return because, as the saying goes, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. I can tell you that this this rip off of an establishment parading as a pub will never again receive a dollar of mine. I felt totally ripped off and urge all tourist to treat this place as if they were handing out Ebola virus pills.

Fun spot in Copenhagen near the Tivoli Park in downtown. Monday’s special includes great free music and Carlsberg Pints for 25KR. The place has an English pub feel and décor. Bartenders are friendly and English is spoken. Mixed crowd of locals and travelers. They have other interesting drink deals that include bottle service for 475KR and 10 shots of rail booze for 150KR. Its a party spot for sure.

This is a very nice looking pub, with an embarrassingly lazy name. They did have one bevvie from their homeland, an average beer from Belhaven, but beyond that it was the usual Danish beer lineup. They should really give Brewdog a call!
