MAOBAO, where art thou? The only bad thing about this place is that they’re never around when you’re having ultimate craving for fluffy white bao with pork fillings and peanut crumblings on it. No, seriously bro — what’s an Asian girl got to do here to have an easy access to those divine baos? I have tried baos here and there, but MAOBAO wins the fluffiest bao competition hand down although the fillings can be better varied, but I ain’t complaining here. With the price of 60 kr for two baos, it’s a little bit steep everywhere else but Denmark(well, maybe not Norway but I am not even sure if there are baos up there in the arctic circle) but I would definitely shut up and let them take my money. For now, I would just have to stalk them on social media to find out where they’re going to appear next.

There was only one option when I was here, and that was pork. Sorry, vegetarians.): The pork was tender and moist, dressed with crushed peanuts, pickled cucumbers, hoisin, and spring onions, and cilantro. The peanuts and cilantro make it! Fold all that into a delicate steamed bun and you have a winning combo! One won’t fill me up but two is plenty. There is also a bottle of sriracha for those who need a little kick.(:
