This place is not serving typical Italian pizza. Being Italian myself, I can tell you this with absolute certainty. The typical test is for me to order the most basic and yet most mistaken pizza ever: Margherita. The dough is far from being close to Italian standards. The tomato sauce is a bit watered down; they replaced mozzarella with some sort of cheap cheese and, finally, they use oregano instead of basil. The latter being the classic mistake of a non-Italian pizza maker. The current owners are not even Italian themselves. They are exploiting the supposed reputation of the previous Italian owner. As a matter of fact, if you bother looking at the articles framed on the walls, you will notice that the current owners do not look anything like the guy mentioned in the newspapers. Avoid this place. For a good pizza, look elsewhere.

This place is listed to be one of the best pizza spot in town. Meh. I wouldn’t say so. I don’t know what’s all the fuss about. I’ve had better pizza here in beautiful Copenhagen. Starting from the location, it only has a few seats inside and outside. If they’re all busy(and it’s really likely to) you’ll have to eat standing or at the park right beside the Cinemateket. And it’s not that convenient considering the Winter and the Darkness are coming. Second, most important of all: the pizza. I asked for a vegetarian one and I got a pepperoni. What the hell? Anyway, I managed to get them off and eat my meal. The pizza got cold really fast and the dough was not that good either. It was cooked in an electric oven and you could really tell the difference. The ingredients were slightly acceptable. They don’t even accept credit cards, nor MobilePay. Are you serious, guys? Whole ranking is two stars, not more.

Excellent food! We were looking for good place to eat out of the tourist area and we struck gold. Family friendly and large portions. Also, very reasonably priced.

We were staying at a hotel a couple blocks away, and in the mood for a pizza for takeaway, so gave them a shot, and we were all glad we did. The menu is only in Danish, and they only speak Danish and Italian(the latter being a very good sign), and since I am Danish-challenged and my Italian is rusty, I ordered a margarita. The crust was excellent, and the sauce and cheeses very flavorful, with fresh tomato and basil on top. Next time I’ll bring my iPhone(w/Danish dictionary) or a Danish speaker and try one of their combinations. NB, they have one table with chairs, but is petty much takeaway only for all practical purposes. It looks like a whole in the wall, but don’t let that fool you; this is quality pizza, and you won’t be disappointed.

Best pizza you can get your hands on in CPH for sure. Prices are absolutely okay and the staff speaks Italian. Awesome.

I was staying with a friend in Copenhagen when we suddenly felt a craving for Italian pasta. Taking a bit of advice from fellow Unilocalers, we decided for this local joint that came highly recommended. We weren’t in the market for pizza, so instead we went for a portion of the Sicilian vegetarian pasta in creamy tomato sauce and a large tomato bruchetta to share. The pasta was — to say it frankly — extremely poor. Very greasy, low quality store bought pasta, veggies that tasted as i if they came straight from the freezer. We were so dissatisfied that we ended up throwing the whole lot in the trash. The bruchetta was a tad tastier. The bread consisted of a large chunk of Italian ciabatta, the tomato-basil topping was OK, so was the olive oil. Remember to ask for salt! Anyway, it was alright, but nothing out of the ordinary. To be honest, I’m really sad that we couldn’t echo the other Unilocaler reviews. Based on the recommendations my guess is that when visiting this neighbourhood joint it’s best to avoid any other food objects than pizza.

Four star. Actually, I have no idea where to get better pizza in Copenhagen. I was recommended the place by an Italian Italian who speaks Italian and he did not know of a better place either. Call in advance, it takes them about fifteen minutes to cook the pizza. Small counter, but otherwise take-away only. The wife recommends the rustica.

One of those places where you wouldn’t get in, but when you do, you actually find out they offer decent pizzas at a nice price. Frokost tilbud is, ahh, encouraging… :)
