Kosta Kaffebar

The atmosphere is pretty cozy and staff friendly but unfortunately the coffe is really bad. I wasn’t even able to drink it and as a coffee lover I seldomely leave a coffe untouched. Since this is a coffee place I have to give 2 stars only.

It’s tranquil, a good place to relax and catch up on your reading. While the food and drinks are somwhat expensive and lackluster, the atmosphere is cozy and they have good music.

Been here a few times and this place never struck me as either very good nor very bad. It was simply okay. Last time I was here I ordered a brownie and an Americano. The coffee was fine and the brownie was prob very delicious 4 days ago when it was made. But it was so hard it almost took a steak knife to cut through. Half way through my friend even found mould on the bottom of his brownie! Very disappointing. I would have not served it to anyone. I returned the cake and got the money back, nice but still that’s just not good enough. Definitely my last time here.

I am sitting in Kosta Kaffebar writing this review because I want to brag about how ideal it is… I’m pretty sure it is now my go-​to café here in Amager. It is located on a corner so there are a lot of windows that provide great natural light, something not so easily attained here in Copenhagen. The ambiance is cozy and modern, which is not an easy balance to achieve. I love the artwork and décor and overall vibe that this place has.
I did not order a coffee here today but will update you on the quality of their drinks asap. I did sample some of their blueberry coffee cake and was VERY impressed. and almost tempted enough to get one. They offer sandwiches as well!
Free wifi, a few board games, news papers & magazines… what more could one want from a café? Most of the seating is bar style stools but there are a couple of comfy couches and arm chairs if you are able to snag one (wasn’t as lucky this time). New goal: to become a loyal and frequent customer here.
