I got a cut with Morten, and when I went in, I said«I have no idea what kind of cut I want, my hair has just gotten too heavy and is no longer flattering, and also, it takes forever to dry in the morning. Fix it!» And he did. Often stylists are too nervous to just do something, but he was confident and we decided on something quickly, without endless discussion about it. The result? I love it! He did layers, which is really quite difficult to work with my face, and thinned out my heavy hair quite a bit. As a result I can wear it wavy or straight now, and it frames my face attractively. It also dries quickly, and yet, it still keeps my neck warm in winter. ;) Three cheers. I will be back.(Also, best scalp massage in the universe, not that that is a primary reason to go to a salon, but it’s nice). The salon itself is nice, and people are friendly, but not cloyingly so. I may try some hair color next time, and if so I’ll update with how it goes. For now, I’ve found my new salon in Copenhagen, and the prices are reasonable, about what I’d pay in Seattle, WA, USA for a comparable cut. (By the way, I found the salon first on FourSquare, which has a nice explore feature that dovetails nicely with Unilocal.Find something through proximity on FourSquare on your mobile phone, then check reviews on Unilocal.)
