Great restaurant. We recently visited it during the French dinning week and they were awesome. First we came with a party of 8 instead of a party of 7 we have previously paid for and there was no hazel about it they were happy to bring an extra chair. I love the fact we can find some flexibility still it would have normally be a big fuzz in any other place. The food was really good we started with a chevre chaud salad which we paired to a Cremant d Alsace and we continued our dinner with Coq au Vin absolutely fabulous great sauce, juicy chicken and delicious mash potatoes which we paired to a A Cabernet Sauvignon from France and we finished the dinner with a Tarte Tatin all in all delicious very good wine for really decent prices I will highly recommend it. Definitely coming back!

Okay, maybe I had a high expectation when I chose this one for celebrating my husband birthday. I wanted to celebrate it the big city style, where you go party all night long. As we first arrived at the scene, I have already had my doubts about this place, well… it looked like a rundown place. The dancing area was so small, the music they were playing was those top 40 music that you would hear on the radio(sometimes slow tempo sometimes fast… ugh!). There were some areas on the floor that had a puddle of liquid(disgusting!). The stairs that leading up to a second floor was so narrow that it was difficult for me to step on because I was wearing high heels. Then there was some issue with my booking. I booked a table for Friday, and I even mentioned it two times in my email, yet they managed to get it wrong and wasn’t even apologizing for it. They then gave us a table in a smoking area where quickly my hair and dress reeked of cigarette(I just washed my hair that afternoon, darned it!). Wouldn’t you be asking first whether it is ok to have a table in a smoking area or not?! The ventilation system in the room was not working and there was no window that you can open. Oh, it didn’t just stop there… then there was this one bartender, who just kept on pressing«my wrong button» by acting unprofessionally. I have written in my email the list of drinks that I want it to be served to my guests, yet he insisted there was no such list, and let me tell, you while I was talking to him, he kept on standing so far away from me, which made me yell at him asking to come closer because the acoustic was so bad. He pretty much behaved like he didn’t give a sh*** about us the whole time, which pissed me off so bad that I had to lash it out to the owner. Now the owner, however, was very attentive. She had everything fixed in an instant and gave us a free first round of cocktails. But that was it. That was the only thing that was good about this place(the club). Pretty much just like what MIna. K described in her review. Good thing that three of my guests were enjoying some of the music that they went dancing for a good 30 minutes. The cocktails? nope, I have had better, I probably can make it better. Even with the price tag of 120kr, for two of the same cocktail, still didn’t impress me. The other customers that were there that night, was rowdy, rude, behave like a wild animal. My suggestion for this place is, don’t take a reservation for your club… because your personnel just couldn’t handle that professionally. Train them on how to talk with a guest, because they have almost zero ability to do this. The funny thing was, they were really professional in all the emails they have sent to me. It was like 180 degrees opposite to our experience. At least I will give 4 stars just for the owner because she was handling everything like a pro.

Although I’ve walked by it many times over the years, I’ve never been inside. So why did I think I could recommend this place to Maria G. who wanted to take some friends to dance while others could hang out in the bar? I learned my lesson; never endorse a business that you have never patronized. Although Maria booked in advance, the«manager» with a beard had no idea what we were talking about when we arrived. Upon further inspection it appeared that they booked us by mistake for the next day. Despite this, beard manager seemed unapologetic and went upstairs to scrape some tables together for us. When he said it was ready, we realized that he had seated us inside the smoking area of the bar. Thanks for asking! None of us were ok with that. Luckily the owner was there and quickly fixed the situation by shooing some other people away from tables in the non-smoking area and setting them together for us. She was also so lovely and gave us a round of drinks on the house for the mistake. The owner and her handling of the situation is the only reason I didn’t give one or two stars. The bartenders really didn’t seem to care. after a long time they brought our first round of drinks and of course we wanted to know which they were but he had no idea and had to go ask. We guessed correctly without his help and passed them down to their owners. Though the drinks were affordable at 2 for 130 dkk, they were not great. I would rather pay more at Gilt or Mikropolis for better cocktails. This really isn’t my scene. I don’t go dancing so I was grateful that there was a separate area, but the patrons were pretty loud and drunk so it was hard to keep a conversation going. I’m sure it’s a great place if you like dancing. I’ll stick to my quiet bars with old people. =_=

Lately every time I go out(and getting older the number of times is only decreasing) I seem to end up at gefährlich. We always search for a place to dance our feet off and this place satisfy that need. I love that they play all kind of music in the late hours, all from funk to house to old classics and the dance floor is packed in the weekends. It gets really crowded and warm in the little dark basement(which is the reason I didn’t gave 5 stars), but there is a certain charm in there. They have their famous ginger shots, which are quite expensive, but believe me they are good. The entrance is free and they have a wardrobe if you want to store your things safely. They also have a first floor where there is big seating area and a bar to buy drinks etc. Here there is more light and you have the chance to have a conversation. I warmly recommend the place

Came here for dinner with some friends. Very rustic-cute spot with seating options downstairs, upstairs, and outside. They serve good simple hearty Danish food and service was friendly and efficient. We all got the stegt flaesk as our Danish friend informed us it was the traditional Danish dish, and it was very cool to try it out. The pork was perfectly crispy and the parsley sauce complimented the potatoes nicely. It’s a good spot for a low-key ambiance and tasty hearty Danish food.

Been there for the club, but also for food. Clubbing is quite nice. A good option for late night at Nørrebro. And that gives the extra star! My dinning experience was not that great. A table for 5, with pre-paid offer of a home-made Jerusalem artichoke soup and beef fillet. 1. They were out of Jerusalem artichokes, so we were served mushroom risotto(½ of a portion each). 2. We were not asked how we want out beef done. 3. Our plates were«thrown» on the table. Mine at least made some noise! 4. The bottle of wine we ordered came opened and was not served to us, just left on the table. 5. That soupy vinaigrette sauce that was on the side of the beef was presented as bearnaise! 6. I am 99% sure that they had excess of estragon and put all the had in ALL dishes! And seven: the prise of the offer was 180kr. Considering the size of the portion, it didn’t feel we had a discount. I’ll only give one good advise to the manager. When you sell offers, its to make a good impression and raise your restaurant’s publicity… not the opposite.

I love this place. The ambience, the roasted pork, the wine — it all made for a very delicous, enjoyable time. Highly recommended!

What fun! Nightclub review. Great music(hip hop, funk, fun). Awesome crowd, different than what you get in the tourist spots. Add to: not-for-tourist guide. I was visiting Copenhagen and a local friend brought me here. Our group had a great time and the people were much more warm and open than I’d met elsewhere on my trip.

This review is both for the food, and for the«nightclub»(though I feel like that does not really do what happens at Gefährlich after midnight justice). First, the food: Dinner at Gefährlich is part comfort food, part French gastronomy, mashed together into some delicious homestyle plates. The options are not overbearing, and are extremely satisfying. The dining area spans both upstairs where there is an open kitchen layout, and downstairs, which later, transforms into a café, and then even later, transforms into groove-central. The food is reasonably priced for what you get, and the service is great. Second, the nightclub: First of all, the music. It may be my lucky month, but on Friday and Saturday nights lately, groovy tunes have been spilling out of the speakers like thick delicious caramel. There’s been a great mix of funk, hip hop, and pretty much anything else that might otherwise fall into that category. The only unlucky part about this situation is that the space in the basement where the tunes are at their finest is way too small for the amount of people that eventually start to flood in around 2am. Upstairs is generally reserved for the non-dancers, and the upstairs and a half, for the smokers, so there isn’t much space for all the dancing machines. A polite request to the bouncer to stop letting people in last Saturday resulted in us eventually deciding to move on to bigger and better things because we were so jam-packed in that we could no longer dance. A shame, and the reason why I take away one star. Pro-tip: the music starts at 11:30pm, and you should go then, with your friends, and take over the dance floor. Then dance it out like a rockstar. Then leave at 2am and dance in the streets. Or if it’s a Saturday, and you’re feeling edgy, go to Rust, where the music is awesome, but the scene is… questionable.

So there’s a barber shop inside Gefährlich…cool. It’s a little glassed in area just to the left of the main entrance when you come in and at first I thought I had stepped into the wrong shop while looking for Gefährlich. There seems to be many nooks and levels with the bar and barber on the ground floor(street level), the dining area and another bar up the white spiral staircase, and then finally the smoking room another half story up. I had dinner and drinks here on a random weekday and it was great. I called ahead to reserve a table and perhaps it’s good that I did because within 10 minutes of us sitting down the rest of the dining room was full. I had the stegt flæsk with potatoes and parsley sauce and it was as wonderful as you would expect fried bacon to be — very wonderful. Boyfriend had the boeuf bourguignon and that was pretty good too. Tastes like wine and beef as expected. The house wine that night was Zuri(coincidentally sharing a name with a friend of mine so I had to try it and report back to her) and quite a decent syrah. A quiet and low key place for dinner. If the barber is as good as the dining experience, maybe I should get my hair cut there too…

Popular club/bar in Nørrebro area which is both packed and open really late on Saturday at least. Music was old school soul classics spun by a couple of hipster DJs, and you literally had to push your way around the dancefloor. Ale 16’s aren’t very cheap in here, so be careful where you leave them. We had a couple of disasters when the entire table that contained our drinks mysteriously disappeared from the dancefloor!!!
