This bike shop will turn any bike non-believer into a true lover of the two wheel form of transport. I have to say that these hands down are the most beautiful bikes made on the planet. Everything, and I mean everything in the shop is hand made, hand formed, or hand designed to fit each bike and person perfectly. They build a bike to your specifications and to your exact liking. It is the same as getting a suit hand tailored by Paul Smith himself(who rides a bike made in this shop). A perfect bike to fit your needs and ultimate fantasies is created here. Gjesing Rasmus started building bikes in 1995 and is now the bicycle equivalent to Zenga. It is still one small shop and another little work shop where even the lights are hand made to fit directly onto the stunning bikes. Walking into the shop for a bike aficionado is a bit like walking into Lakrids for a licorice lover, overwhelming. The hipsters who work there are a bit pretentious, but I guess they can be, and the price is nothing but extravagant. If you buy a bike here, you better also buy the two or three most expensive locks to go with it. Or, just hang it on your wall as art work in your apartment, there is really no in between. I like to go in and just drool and dream about the day I can afford one; until one of the hipsters stares at me long enough or just ushers me out the door with a flip of his sraggly hair underneath a sideways baseball cap.
