I was recently in Aperitivo during the jazz festival, to have a drink and relax after a day of sightseeing. That being said, I can’t comment on their food, but I can say what I liked about the rest of my experience. First off, they have a great, albeit small, bar. I had a hot chocolate, and then decided to give it a little kick with desaronno, and it was delicious. The whole presentation of the hot chocolate was good: a great mug and saucer, a bar of chocolate on the side. We sat in the left room, with all the windows, and watched the band play while hearing through the open window. I especially liked the décor: all of the vintage pieces around the room give a really cool feeling. Definitely a neat place to stop for a night cap, or a meal, if you’re in the meat-packing district. A short walk from the heart of town, but worth it for sure.
