This is a Steakhouse that serves delicious and Exquisite Steaks, Sublime Cocktails, and mediocre side orders. My Dad and me went here on an average Wednesday early in the evening. The place was almost empty when we arrived. We decided on 2 cocktails(can’t remember the names, one with pineapple & apple jack & One savory with white wine and olives), both were really tasteful and then we decided on 1 Danish aged RibEye 1 American Omaha RibEye 1 portion fries 1 Pepper Sauce 1 Bearnaise Sauce 1 tossed vinaigrette salad 1 Slice Cheesecake 1 Gel of Butter-milk with strawberry(Panna-Cotta) 1IPA Draught Beer 1 Anchor Steam Draught The Steaks were delicious, really good, the Danish had a different flavor than the Yankee, but both were really delicious and perfectly seared on the grill. Had it only been cocktails and steaks, it would have been five stars. However, their side orders are just too blunt and mediocre. The bearnaise was too sweet for my liking, it needed more acid. The pepper-sauce tasted like something out of a supermarket aisle. The fries were undercooked and not even worth it, they lacked crispiness. Did they double fry them? I don’t think so, but for the price, they had to nail them. They didn’t. The tossed salad was all right, really hard not to screw that one up. The Desserts were tasteful but WAAAY too large. I guess it’s here that the«American» in the steakhouse comes into place. They were tasty and well made, however the sized of them was unnecessary and vulgar. In my world, a dessert is suppose top off your dining experience, not make you nauseatingly full from it. The service was really good and polite, they were very aware and helpful. 5 stars here. Come here for the steaks and the cocktails. But there’s no need to fill up your order with expensive mediocre side-orders. It simply ain’t worth it.

A perfectly good dry-aged steak. Order the NY strip rare. It came nice and rare with some decent sides. The location here is nice, as you have a good view of the water. Pricing is fairly expensive, but reasonable for what you get. The real issue here was the service. We placed our wine order and it took forever to arrive(probably 15 – 20 minutes). When it did finally come it was the wrong wine. We didnt end up getting the right wine until half way through our meal, which was disappointing. Overall an acceptable meal, but probably wont be back unless I am really craving a steak.

Excellent food, and the servers can offer excellent advise. Be prepared to pay a hefty amount, but it is well worth it. Don’t skimp on the appetizer/dessert. When you go, go 100%. Be sure to make reservations.

We love Mash in Bredgade downtown, but this venue just isn’t as cozy. We were seated in the middle of the room, right next to the waiters’ station, and I regret not being asked to be reseated. As always the food was great, but when you’re paying that much money you want the entire experience to be something to remember.

Came to MASH for Sunday brunch some time ago. The place is beautiful on the outside, a bit normal on the inside but nice, it gets crowded so be sure to book your table in advance. The buffet dishes were very good but there was nothing super-special, not even the carved meat with sauce(being a steakhouse I thought it would be amazing). The service is horrible, even for Danish standards, waiters and waitresses looking anywhere but to the tables to see if clients need anything -’cause that’s their job, right?- and always with an annoyed face. The 3 stars are for the variety of the buffet(cold cuts, smoked fish, sausages, carved meat, veggies and a nice selection of sweets like cakes and macarons) and the place. The high prices and the bad service just don’t make it worth it to come back.

Total forvirring at spore i hans blik. WTF?! Her stoppede ploven.

Not all it is cracked up to be. Really. DISAPPOINTED!!! Went on a Friday night at 9PM with my Significant Other for his birthday. After waiting in the bar for about ten minutes(while watching mostly empty tables all around us — the place is big and spacious, but the house was nowhere near fully booked) we were seated at a standalone table right next to the waiter station — not at booth although most of these were empty and remained so for the rest of the evening. Sitting next to the waiters base camp gave us a unique insight into their busy schedule, which mostly consisted of talking to each other and some apparently very important guests(more important than us anyway). We were given a menu and a wine menu, our orders were taken, no wine suggestions were given, no bread was served, noone came to check up on us and ask if we were satisfied(which was probably for the best), our plates were removed, our check was brought to us, our money was removed from our credit card. Come on! I have had kinder and more dedicated service at my local gas station. Does«catering and tending to the needs of the guest who paid DKK495 for a freeking piece of meat» mean absolutely NOTHING to you guys? I sure hope you don’t have plans of opening for business in the US. Loving the meat, though. Hence the two stars. One must be fair.

Mash is a great restaurant, but I was not as impressed as I had hoped for. The interior of the restaurant is quite boring, but not completely tasteless. The restaurant was very busy, and the service was not as good as I would have expected as it isn’t exactly cheep to dine there. The food was great, however, I don’t know if it is worth the money. The steak does only come with sauce, and if wanting potatoes, fries, salad etc you need to order it on the side. For the amount of money that it cost to dine there I think money are better spent elsewhere. Not that food isn’t great I just don’t think it is worth the amount of money it cost.

Great food and excellent service! The steak here is unbeatable! The dishes come with a choice of sauce but honestly you don’t need them because the meat is perfection. Sides must be ordered separately. I recommend the macaroni and cheese, creamed spinach and cesar salad. The sides are small so I would order at least two to share if there are two of you, and for four people I would order six sides. For dessert, I’ve had their crème brule which was good, as well as their cheesecake which was just ok, but if you know real NY cheesecake it will not satisfy. Tip: they use American levels of «donenness» which is good if you don’t like your meat bloody but bad if you do! When I was there in June to celebrate my birthday/anniversary I asked for medium and I would say that it was more ¾ well-done or medium-well, so next time I’ll ask for medium-rare. As for price, it’s pricey but worth it! Expect to spend at least 1,500DKK for dinner for two(three courses and a bottle of wine). Another plus about this venue as opposed to MASH City is that they have ample parking!
