House Santiago

A while back, I stayed at this hostel around Christmas time, and it was a fantastic experience. I dropped into Santiago on Christmas Eve, alone and with no idea what to over the holiday. The owner grace was amazing, for she new that I was traveling alone and made sure that I joined her family and friends for a wonderful barbeque that night, The Pisco Sours went well into the night (3 a.m.), and by the end of the evening, I felt that I had invited into someone’s home rather than a hostel.
In fact, House Santiago is aptly named, for it does have a homey feel, with comfortable furniture and a relaxed setting. The owner is super cool and very helpful with all things Santiago. She even had some helpful tips for my trip to Easter Island the following week.
