Definitely not the most affordable choice for your bicycle-related needs, but you can rest assured knowing that you’re getting top notch service. Ziggy and co. know exactly what your bike needs, what parts it needs, and get the job done in a timely manner. My bike has never looked/felt better!

Spent way too much money there… had to go back more than 3 times and still y bike wasn’t running properly… he talks a lot but doesn’t do much… after the 3rd time I went to broadway cycle at bloor and Brock and within 15 minutes my bike was finally fixed! Really disappointed… I understand the man is alone but listen to your clients when they explain what’s wrong then you may fix the issue much quicker!

Alright, this isn’t where you go if you want something cheap and dirty. This is where you go when you want something good. I came in, wincing as Ziggy told me how my improper treatment of my lady love was causing it to destruct. He said he’d get it to me in a few days, and though it wasn’t cheap, it now runs better than it ever has.($ 90 tuneup including chain replacement). I also purchased a helmet, that beats my old helmet to hell. It was on sale because it didn’t have a box. It retails online for $ 125US, and he let me have it for $ 90. An inordinate amount of cash, but it’s full of hair holes which will make my summer commute a zillion times more bearable. Plus, it’ll protect me melon. From this one interaction I’ve had with him, it seems to me that Ziggy takes bikes SERIOUSLY. He understands price but he’s also a stickler for quality. Proximity-wise, it’s perfect for me, but I’m also happy to be stepping up my bike game. I’ll definitely be back.

Ziggy is very knowledgeable and friendly. He’s also not afraid to give you an opinion. I live in the neighbourhood and have shopped here for most of my bicycle needs for the last 2.5 years. Some of his accessories are pricey, but they’re also very high quality(I bought my wife an over-priced cat-eye LED front light for ~$ 60, but it’s the brightest thing you could put on your bike, so I don’t really regret it). For a small shop he’s got a good selection of bikes, bike parts, tools and accessories. His bikes are also on the pricier end(he doesn’t have any of the 300 – 500 bikes that you might find in most bike shops), but that’s just because he doesn’t really carry any of the low-end bikes, not because he jacks up prices. He’s also a a big fan of Canadian companies, and will always try to promote local products, which takes a lot more knowledge than someone just telling you to go buy the fanciest Italian bike on the market. Ziggy is also not at all condescending to lower-level bike riders. My wife is a biking novice and he treats her with the same care and attention as the cyclist who’s been competing in events all his/her life. Finally, his service is excellent. He’s fast, good and rarely so busy that he can’t accomodate minor issues on the spot or major issues within a day or two.
