The Banana Leaf Thai Restaurant

My favourite restaurant in Woodstock. I’ve eaten curries in Thailand and couldn’t believe how much they compare to banana leaf curries. It’s amazing! The yellow curry is usually my go to but the cashew chicken with sticky rice or coconut rice is SO GOOD.

Love this place. Have travelled extensively through SE Asia for the past 15 years and can say that these guys get Thai-​in-​small-​town-​North-​America setting perfectly right… great flavored and lots of charm.

Excellent food, friendly service. Watch the spiciness scale and have them prepare it to your liking. Worth the drive to Woodstock!
We definitely will be back.

Amazing food! Amazing staff! Any dish you order will surely be tasty, arrive hot (temperature wise, of course, unless you order some spice!) and will not parallel to any type of food that is available in a Woodstock restaurant in terms of authenticity, creativity, and flavour.
I have been coming to this restaurant for 5 years and every time I order something off their menu I always get what I am expecting and after I finish my meal I feel like I’m floating because the flavour profiles are just different; in a good way!
I love this restaurant and anyone that has had a bad experience perhaps doesn’t understand the type of cuisine that they’re trying to deliver, or maybe their taste buds need some adapting because it is delicious!
To the staff: keep up the great work!

Food is good! Small if you want to eat in. And a little pricey for dinner. I usually order the pad Thai and yellow curry chicken. But good portion size.

Consistently good service and food. Their fresh rolls are delicious, Pad Thai is good, great red curry, and soups are terrific, too.
Lunch specials are also a great deal with 4 or 5 options for under $ 10, plus the full menu if you want it.
It is small, very clean, and a very enjoyable experience.
