Len’s Mill Store

Awesome place! I did not realize it was so huge and had so much!
Loads of yarns for the knitters; waaaay more in the way of fabrics for those of us who like to quilt or sew; and a large variety of household items — all at affordable and discounted prices.
I will most certainly be back, once I finish these 4 projects I just picked up…

Note: I am giving Len’s a 4 out of 5 stars only because they don’t offer upscale yarns (such as alpaca or qiviut), and because it is a warehouse. Mind you, when I expressed my pleasant surprise at what I found there to one of the clerks, she indicated that this was only a small portion of the yarns they do offer. If I ever go back and see the natural fibers I so love to knit with (over and above the sheep’s wool, that is), I will most certainly post an update here. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit and I am eagerly and anxiously knitting away and current projects in order to get to the yarns I bought over the weekend.

Updated August 27 2012 to add that Len’s Mill Stores has opened a new location in Toronto on Orfus Road! Yay! That much closer to home (Ottawa)… Keep ‘em comin’! :-)
