This place is a greasy spoon. But it works! The food is good, it’s quick, and service was good. The establishment seems to serve a variety of age groups: when we walked in, there were quite a few retired farmers(like an «old boys» club), who were finished their meals before we were, and they were replaced by a younger clientelle. I had something they were calling«Souvlaki», which is something they serve for breakfast, believe it or not! But it was a nice change from bacon and sausage for the first meal of the day. Their tzatziki left a bit to be desired — it was nothing to write home about. Although the waitress proclaimed their fried breakfast potatoes as the star of the show, I did not love them. But the poached eggs were done to perfection. Oh, and the toilets are funny! One stall for each sex, but it’s a good thing I didn’t sit down too fast, as it was, my face was almost in the sink!

This establishment is one of those comfort food restaurants. They serve up good home-cooked food with friendly staff and guests. Worth the stop,
