Parsons Plumbing Heating Cooling & Electrical

Parsons Plumbing & Heating Co Ltd. (266 Sherbrook St, Winnipeg Manitoba) We used Parsons Plumbing for some very minor plumbing and electrical work. We used them because they have a good reputation. The work required was minor, so I did not bother to get an estimate before hand.
The workers were friendly and the work done was acceptable (note: we were left with a mess to clean up) however they charged a lot of money. I was surprised at the amount and enquired at other place to see if the cost was consistent across the board and found that Parsons was significantly more expensive. In this case they used more labour than was required for the job. When I inquired about the billing, Parsons was very unsympathetic to my experience with them.
For anyone thinking of using Parsons Plumbing and Heating, I highly recommend that you get an estimate for the entire cost and shop around before committing.
FYI: Parsons is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau. They do have previous complaints registered against them relating to both billing and services.
