La Boutique Del Vino

OMG! This place is wonderful for something beautiful and different for a gift basket. I wanted sweet and savory and something nice for my dad who just had surgery. I live in the States but he lives in Winnipeg so it was hard for me to tell if I was getting something nice but good value for my dollar. The store manager, Myckella McElroy, was a delight. She answered my email/​order inquiry almost immediately and even called me in the States to get clarification. She was very accomodating and helpful. I built my own basket with assorted fruits and cheese, olives, preserves, crackers and we cusotmized it with flavoured italian sodas… Pelligrino lemon and blood orange. I had a price point of $ 50 plus delivery and she made this all happen. She even sent a photo for me to view the end product. My dad was very happy even through all his pain killers! He really liked the fresh grapes.
When we realized the basket was missing 1 jar of preserves that we had discussed with my order Myckella offered to drop it by my father’s place as she said it was on her way home and he nor I would be charged. I just need to say how wonderful Myckella is and the rest of the staff. They will even build a wine themed basket for you as well. Even though I haven’t seen the store in person it appears beautiful just form the staff and the website.
Something defintely out of the ordinary.
I will likely be ordering more gift baskets from Myckella in the future.

Over all a nice wine store with a good selection and ok price. Found some good blends I was looking for and the staff was really helpful. This is a place I will be coming back to.

One of my go-​to places for wine! They carry a lot of interesting wines, even found the Spanish wine I enjoyed from Segovia’s in this store. Staff are really helpful and knowledgeable about the products, unlike the LC.
