Don’t bother to call here unless you live out of province. They refuse to take new patients from in-​province even if one of their doctors is accepting new patients. Plus they were rude.

I was looking for a new family doctor after disagreeing with the personal opinions my doctor was expressing about my needs (believed depression was me «just being sad» LOL K). I was able to become a patient of Dr. Wasif at Greencrest right away. She is comforting, knowledgable, non-​judgmental, and is straight-​forward.
I’d like to address the comments of the most recent Unilocaler:
— It is clearly stated that you will be charged if you do not cancel your appointment within 24 hours of the appointment. This is to prevent empty slot appointments when there are sick people who need an appointment. It’s common courtesy to cancel, and selfish to leave an open appointment you do not intend on going to!
— «Indian and Asian traditional medicines», I’m going to pretend this isn’t racist and just say that I have seen the Indian doctor you speak of, and he prescribed me an inhaler, a nasal spray, and anti-​biotics when I had a severe and persistant cough/​cold (lasting over 3 weeks!). He also swabbed for strep. I’m sure it was not Indian or Asian nasal spray though I didn’t look into its origin…
— It is also common practice to charge for notes. At Greencrest it is 10 $. I do not feel this is unusual and/​or uncalled for
This clinic also has days of walk-​in if you are not a patient. If you do not love your family doctor, call and ask if they are accepting patients, it was the best decision I’ve made for my health!

Hate that clinic. First u have to take off your shoes there come on who will do that in 21^st century .most of their doctors practice some sorts of traditional Indian or Asian medicine and they barely prescribe you something useful and common. They charge you if you miss your appointment or if you wanna get doctor’s note. Really really dislike that place
