Good meal! I had bacon cheeseburger and fries. The fry portion is huge but who cares?! A tad on the expensive side though. Definitely worth a try

3 stars tops. Will not be coming back. Save your money and go to Fatburgers or VJ’s when in Winnipeg. No real flavour to the ‘meat’ — all toppings. Also pricey for what you get.

It’s not easy to make a hamburger that stands out. The Five Guys hamburger is juicy and the toppings are fresh and flavourful but I always find myself wishing I could get my burger done medium to medium-well rather than well done. I think easing up on the«doneness» would take this good burger to a whole new tasty place. Maybe I should ask although I’m not sure I’d fully trust the staff to carefully undercook my meal. I was first attracted to Five Guys because they would make a lettuce wrap burger for my gluten-free wife. I have a sensitivity to peanuts that prevents me from eating the fries and free peanuts here but I’m always fully satisfied by my burger and never feel like I’m missing out. Best burger in town? No. When taking the cost and homemade quality into account this burger sits high on the list but I don’t dream about this burger like I do about some others.

Great burgers and even greater fries! Try the cajun fries. The quantity is just too much. I went with my gf and we orders our own burgers but shared the fries and still have some left. All in all its a good place.

Chain was consistent to what we’ve experience in the U.S. except for most every food item was a dollar more. Certainly was better than a Wendy’s we stopped at the day before were the taste of the beef was not to our liking.

I was a bit skeptical about trying Five Guys since lots of Unilocalers complained that the fries here were way too greasy and they serve way too many. I didn’t find this to be a problem when I finally took the plunge and went to Five Guys. I shared a regular fry with someone and we had leftovers but for 3 dollars, thats ok, and I didn’t find the fries to be greasy. I thought they were pretty good– fresh cut in-store(but they aren’t Canadian potatoes). The first time I went the guy at the counter didn’t really explain the menu to us, although he tried, so I ended up ordering a regular burger which has two patties– too many for me! The total for two burgers, fries, and two drinks was 30 bucks but the ingredients are all fresh. People are complaining that this place is too expensive but you could easily spend 20 bucks for crap at Mcdonalds, why not splurge and get all fresh and real ingredients for an extra 10 bucks? The next time I went I got a little burger and so did my boyfriend and the total was only 25 so just try it once!

Food was good in an average way as far as burger and fries goes. Ordered bacon cheese burger and cajun fries. Burger was ok but next time i will order with no mushrooms. Fries weren’t spicy but seasoned but for a small order of fries they sure wasted a lot of fries. It was pricey as for two adults and two kids it was $ 62+ change and noisy as all hell. I prefer the Burger Factory in Transcona. On a side note i noticed all their potatoes and peanuts were boxed in their own boxes and bags and when i looked the potatoes were from the US. Not like Manitoba or Canada cant provide potatoes.

Fantastic burger but I had to dig through a mound of greasy fries to get my burger from the bottom of the bag Next time I would just order the burger unless dining with 2 friends to help with the«small» order of fries
