This is a small European bakery in Transcona that sells mostly pastries. Lots of cupcakes, cannolis and tons of cakes. They have several cakes in a fridge that are ready to go. They also specialize in wedding cakes. I tried their mini strawberry cheesecake and the mini oreo cheescake — $ 2.99 each. The diameter of the cheesecake was about the size of a medium muffin tin. The cheesecake filling is the same for all the cakes — just the topping and base may change. The strawberry had a graham cracker base and the oreo had oreo cookies on top and the oreo cookie base but no oreos within the actual cheesecakes. The cakes were average, similar to something home made. The cannolis were delicious as the shell was firm and the filling was smooth but not overly sweet. I ordered a 7″ chocolate sin cake($ 27) which was ready for pick up the next day. This cake serves about 6 – 8 adults. It’s a chocolate ganache with dark chcoolate cake and whipped cream filling between the layers. Cake was moist and not overly sweet. It’s a decent chocolate cake but not what I think of when I hear chocolate sin cake. Service is very friendly and customer oriented.
