This was my first time in Winnipeg. While visiting Polo Park, I came across Cultures in their food court. They offer a variety of foods including, bowls, salads, hot foods and sandwiches/​wraps. I liked that there was variety so I decided to grab lunch there. I ordered the Pacific Bowl without tuna (keeping it vegan) and they were very friendly about substituting different vegetables. Overall I had a good experience and I would definitely come back when trying to grab something healthy for lunch.

I wanted a quick and healthy lunch while at the Polo Park food court and I opted for Cultures. The food looked fresh enough but jeez… when I ordered the soup + 2 sides combo, I had total regrets. First of all the chicken noodle was pure broth, there was maybe a small spoonful of chicken and a few noodles. And worst of all, it tasted like Campbell’s canned soup. Then the side salad were the beet salad and the Greek salad. The beet salad tasted like those canned beets (not fresh) and the Greek salad was average. Overall for $ 9.03 after tax for that small amount of not so good food, I was really disappointed. Unfortunately it’s a tad overpriced for very mediocre food.
