The loop is the most judgement free zone in Windsor. You won’t find any close-minded people there, and if you do, they’re first timers that aren’t likely to be there again. It is easily the best place to be on a Saturday night. Music is phenomenal, people are great, staff is fantastic.

The Loop is probably the best place to go on a Saturday night in Windsor. The music they play is unique in Windsor on a Saturday night — while other clubs are blasting dance and top 40’s, the loop is spinning Alternative rock, and pop. The venue is huge! It has a stage, a massive dance floor and even a section with pool tables. The double haze and double muds are also unique to Loop — just try them, you’ll see what I mean. Also there is free coat check. What leaves me to give only four stars is the service. You’re always waiting at least 15 – 20 minutes for a drink at the bar. As well, they have a few bouncers that like to kick people out indiscriminately. In the instance that happened to our group — for being too intoxicated, even though said person was the DD. Lastly, even though the coat check is free, there is ALWAYS a line at least a mile long. Overall, I’d recommend Loop if you need to go out in Windsor. But, if you have the choice to go out to Detroit for a Saturday night, that’s the better option in my opinion.

Fave dancing spot for Saturdays. The only spot which isn’t techno/hip-hop/top-40 crap, so it attracts the alternative crowd. I like to go hipster watching, playing some pool and dancing it up. The place is huge, and I always wonder why they don’t do more bands in there since it has a great stage. It takes forever to get a drink, I wish they had more than one bar in there, even though it usually has like 4 bartenders. Cover is $ 5

I have to give the Loop five big red stars. And the reason why I have to give the Loop five big stars is because it’s probably(read: is) one of the only good places to go dancing in Windsor. Of course, this is an entirely subjective statement. But regardless, I stand by it. The Loop is not like other bars in Windsor. And by that I mean, it’s not completely sleazy and it is not ghetto fabulous. It’s a really large venue. It has pool tables. Lights. You know. What I like most about the Loop is that I can depend on it to be there when I visit Windsor(since I live in Toronto). And I know I’ll run into someone. Most importantly, though, the Loop is the kind of place that depends on who you go with. So long as you’re with a great group of people, you’ll have a good time. Silly dancing is always encouraged.

The Loop is actually part of a number of establishments which are located at this address. There are two bars located downstairs, and a dance area which is upstairs. The downstairs usually has live music, thursdays the last time I checked was Hoola(sp?) Dog which is a pretty good band from Windsor. The surprising thing about this place is they often have pretty decent beers downstairs. I have been there and they have had trappist beers on tap. Which is pretty amazing to me, since they don’t have that at the so callled«Beer Market» across the street. The loop is pretty much the only venue which doesn’t primarily cater to techo-genre musics. The ambiance is pretty good, the bouncers aren’t total pricks, and the crowd is usually pretty good. On halloween the place is usually pretty full, and on Saturdays there is a cover. Otherwise, the Loop is one of my favorite places to hang out on a Saturrday night, if in Windsor.
