Recommend the mettwurst sausage… like beef tartar only its pork! Amazing for the true foodie

It was recommended so I checked it out. I’m immune deficient from a bone marrow transplant so my view is from a different perspective. While I was there, four people were served. The servers handled a dish cloth to wipe the counter and used it to wipe their fingers. They handled money, made sandwiches and carried meat to the slicer all without washing and there was not a glove in sight. I started watching carefully until I declined the order being prepared for me and left. Also the salt and pepper shakers looked really old and stained. I wondered it they’d ever been through the dishwasher.

Very nice deli with great sandwiches. Owner is from Germany. Meats and cheeses are fresh and tasty. Coffee is decent. Nice spot.

This place is a real gem. There is something for everyone. If you are frugal, they make a daily sandwich for about 4 bucks. All the deli foods are mostly hand made. If you are a hardcore foodie, they have all sorts of German and Dutch specialties. I am partial to the landjäger they get. Awesome.
