Food was overpriced and the chicken biryani looked and tasted nothing like chicken biryani, did not even get yoghurt to go along with it. Restaurant is very outdated and dishes and cutlery are old and filthy. Server was extremely annoying. Sorry Indian Affair will never stray again!

We decided to eat here because we saw the Unilocal ratings and wanted to eat near the beach. BIGMISTAKE! Sometimes those small, hole in the wall places are good if the food is amazing and affordable, this is not the case. This place needs some serious renovation and their food is too pricey for the taste and experience. My apologies to Surrey for such great betrayal, I will only stick to you from now on for desi food. For the price we paid here, we could have went up the street to Tasty Indian Bistro, had SUPER service, ambiance, and food!

This place is amazing. Have eaten in a few times with larger groups(10 – 12 ppl) and is our go to place for take out. Run by the friendliest husband and wife. Service is so good that you feel like a guest in someone’s home. The food is all made from scratch when you order so this isn’t a place you just run into for a quick dinner. I have had most of the items on the menu at this point, and everything is awesome.

This is a Hidden gem. Hands down best Indian food in the lower mainland if not all of BC. I started coming here when I lived in white rock about 8+ years ago. This is also the only restaurant in my entire life that, maintained consistency during the many years I have been frequenting. 21 + years in service, 15 in the white rock location alone. Its pure passion, for fresh ingredients, hard work, and love that keep Sidharth Grill in my heart and memories. Not only has it always been the same people running it, husband wife duo, they often remember every customer that has ever been by face. They managed to make it through every rescission, this alone is almost impossible. In the restaurant industry, 10 places close everyday. Its cut throat. This is such a special place to me I can not describe how authentic and un afraid of being true Indian cuisine its beautiful. Almost all restaurants become Canadianized in some way, trying to accommodate the Canadian palate to their cuisine. I always ask for it EXTRA spicy like I like it. Sidharth Grill is only open 6 days a week and for roughly 4 – 5 hours a day for business. 5PM-till close, and closed on Mondays. Make reservations, seats like 50 max. It had been 4+years since my last visit. I was just relieved to see they were still in white rock. Not only was I pleasantly surprised nothing had changed, everything was just as good. Every single dish, tells a story of love. Every single dish is unique, and worthy of anyone. I developed a dairy allergy, and this was the only place, that makes everything to order. Subsequently the only place I can eat true Indian food without the clarified butter and all the other goodness that comes with Indian food normally. Personalized service is an understatement, I truly feel like extended family when I visit. The menu is amazing, the combination buffet plates are perfectly designed to take you through a journey with as many people as you wish. Best pakoras and least greasy samosas ever. 10⁄10. Best bread and rice, best rice pudding, and best mango chutney. Simply cant be beat. Nothing compares. I could go on and on about each individual item for days. The painstaking care and attention to detail will always be appreciated. They wont be around forever people, go, visit, say hello, tell them how amazing they have been to you. Make sure you get the chance to experience this. If your lucky enough to have eaten here, you know why. They will not disappoint.

Dude. This… place…is…Amazing. If anyone were to ever write a bad review about their personal service or mind blowing food, I’d have to question if they have taste buds or even a heart. Most authentic and delicious Indian food I’ve ever had.

This is true Indian food. The chef prepares each dish from scratch when you order it, so allow for some extra time. It’s well worth the wait. We’ve been a handful of times and always look forward to our next visit. Food is fresh, expertly prepared, and you get a lot of food for a good price. I highly recommend Sidharth Grill for those who aren’t sure if Indian food is right for them. The chef is able to make the dishes less(or more) spicy for those who are trepidatious(or bold). There are also a couple great«Dinner for Two» options that provide for multiple courses of various hot and cold dishes that is great for anyone who doesn’t really know what they’re ordering! Again, I really love the care that goes into the food here. You won’t be disappointed.

The food is really good. The husband and wife owners are passionate about their food. They try to use organic meats locally sourced where possible. Everything is freshly prepared for that day. We let our friend, who had been there before, order. We got a rice dish, a cauliflower and potato dish, a chicken dish and a beef dish. In addition they served those crispy fried snacks with mango chutney and some samosas with another delicious sauce. Total bill for three of us including a pitcher of beer and tip less than $ 100. The only negative, if it could be called that, this is not eat and run. The food took a while to come but it was well worth the wait.
