Wow what a good evening! We met our friends there(none of us had been before) and what a wonderful surprise. The atmosphere was inviting, service — just the right amount and the food was DELICIOUS. I will go back just for the calamari. An added bonus was there was open mic night and the entertainment was incredible.

Great location, pleasant rustic nouveau interior with fireplace, nice deck. Not very busy apparently, but plenty of staff. Service is casual, and somewhat random. Meal preparation is slow and the dishes are poor value at the price. The burger was dry, the fries are the factory created style. Pleasant atmosphere and lots of parking. Not much competition nearby.

I recently started a tour company located right next door to Hugo’s, so I have eaten here A LOT over the past year(often twice a day!) The food has always been good, but they recently hired a new chef and kitchen staff. Now it’s consistently amazing! The service is always friendly, obviously a result of working for the always-smiling owner, Bonnie. The location is great and the view from the patio is first class. I consider myself lucky to have Hugo’s as my neighbour, so I don’t have to go more than a couple steps for a delicious meal!

Our extended family had a great dinner here the other night, with fantastic food, excellent service, and live entertainment. In particular, we loved the chicken curry, and the«jäegerschnitzel» was definitely the best schnitzel that we have had. Highly recommended.

Had dinner at Hugo’s Saturday night. We had a good time. Location: Perfect for us directly across from Thunderbird Marina where we moor our sailboat. Food: good for sharing. Nothing strange or spectacular but a good selection of casual food most people should enjoy. I liked the grilled brussels sprouts with walnuts and goat cheese. Prices: moderate. Burger $ 12 which pretty normal these days. Atmosphere: terrific covered deck with palm trees outside. Loved it. Service: friendly young staff. Attentive but not excessively so.

Nice find. Pulled in from a run up anback from the C2Sky. Great building, unusually good food, live music, friendly people. Good prices. What’s not to like?

We had dinner there last night. The chicken we had as appetizer was way too sweet. The main was pasta with spicy prawns. Both of us had pretty much the same complaint: food was barely warm, prawns were so spicy it killed every other flavour ecxept the massive amount of garlic on the plate. The tomatoes came straight out of a can. It was a VERY disapointing dinner. I like spicy food. But it takes skill to use spices so it does not overpower the rest of the flavours. Garlic is NOT to be used as a vegetable but it should be used as a perfume to enhance the flavours. Tomatoe chunks out of a can??? Really?

Very nice ambiance, with a huge stone fireplace and great service. The pizzas are delicious, on a thin crust and made with toppings you choose yourself. Tip: go on Tuesday nights, as the pizza is two-for-one. Other meals we have had have also been very nice. A good addition to the local area.

Weird hours, coming there you always take chances. They have summer/winter hours, morning/evening hours and so on. Update: the place stinks from the entrance, they need a massive cleanup or even renovation including all the chairs replacement(greasy dirty stains). I had salmon benedict which was disgusting because they put frizen salmon between hot eggs. Fail again. Service was good.

We recently had dinner at this cozy little spot in Eagle Harbour with our friends and their baby. The restaurant is very inviting with friendly staff and a warm, crackling fire. The owner was in and stopped by our table to check on our experience that night, which was a nice touch. One thing of note however, was that the restaurant wasn’t even close to full even though it was a Saturday night. We took our seats at a coffee able with lounge chairs and enjoyed our dinner from there. Amongst us we had the Hugo’s burger, the szechuan noodles and the ribs and french fries. All were good, and served in frying pans, adding to the homey feel of the restaurant. The fries were excellent, embellished by herbs which added a bit of interest. For drinks we had the mango mint shakes which were really refreshing, so much so that some of us had seconds! Although the portions were not large, we were all full at the end of the meal and felt no need for dessert.

We had a wonderful meal of burgers and fries, beer on the patio. Great warm atmosphere and friendly service, reasonably priced. Menu is diverse and we also ordered curry and a prawn dish which were delicious too. The desserts are to die for from Flour Bakery. Can’t wait to go again and try the pizza.
