Not the absolute best, but really, quite good. The Phở Ga(chicken) was interesting, I’d never had it with chicken meatballs before. Not bad at all.

Only came here because Jam had a huge line. It is so overpriced here. Quick service but doesn’t make up for the $ 4 per salad roll or $ 12.95 soup. We came from Vancouver and eat Vietnamese weekly so we know what the prices should be set at. Ordered the vermicelli with spring roll and fish sauce had some kind of red on the bottom. Must be them trying to be different but I didn’t use it. Won’t return.

40 mins wait for phở, and the broth was warm, our appetizer came another 20 mins after our noodles. 1.5 hours for phở plus it wasn’t crazy busy.

Great little Vietnamese spot. Phở was amazing and large portions. Reasonably priced. Enjoy

My friends and I were looking for a quick bite so we stopped here because we are all fans of Vietnamese and there was enough table space for 5. Three of us decided to order the Grilled Chicken Vermicelli bowl and were disappointed with the quality of the grilled chicken. It wasn’t grilled very well and had a gelatinous feel. Both the chicken curry and chicken phở were as expected. I probably wouldn’t come back here. The Noodle Box next door might have been a better option for quick Asian eats.

we found this viet place while walking around chinatown looking for a place for dinner. strolled in and recognized some staff from our cruise ship also eating here! so it must mean good right? in comparison to nyc viet, it was just ok, but it satisfied the cravings and also filled our stomachs. we also really liked the free wifi here to catch up with life back home since we were internet hungry from our cruise!

This restaurant is under new ownership and the quality of their offerings has gone downhill considerably. I gave them two chances and I won’t be back.

I love this place and after trying several Vietnamese places in Victoria, this is my favorite! I absolutely love the Grilled Chicken on rice — in fact it is so good, I get it every time I go. That means though I haven’t tried much else and cannot speak for their entire menu. The friend I go with gets the Phở and says it is good. The reason why they are a 4 star not a 5 is I also have sampled a lot of Vietnamese iced coffees in my life, and the one here is about average. The staff are very friendly and the food is quick!

This place is my top spot for cheap and delicious phở in Victoria! It’s super clean, the service is friendly and their phở is delicious. My favorite is the tofu and veggie phở but I have tried several things on the menu and it is all good. The crab soup(#19) is also highly recommended! Another plus is that they are open until 10pm!

Ordered delivery from phở vuong through Dine in Victoria(it’s the only phở place I can find with delivery). Prices are reasonable, phở was good, broth was nice(but maybe just a tad salty). Ingredients for the phở were all good quality and seemed fresh. The salad roll type appies we got were really tasty and fresh, better that most of the other Vietnamese restaurants in town and the peanut sauce it came with was excellent. The fried roll was above average. I’ll most likely try to find time to dine in the restaurant and will definitely order delivery again the next time I get a night time phở craving. Phở Vuong gets a 3 star for now and hopefully an upgrade in the future after return visits.

Happily upgrading Phở Vuong to four stars. I’ve been back, and the salty broth appears to have been a one-time anomaly. Last time, my phở was perfect, and just what the doctor ordered for a bad cold. The service here is great, as well. Good stuff.

I’m wavering between 1 and 2 stars, but since the service leading up to the event was good, I’ll stick with 2. Up until recently, I was a Phở virgin. Which shocked a great number of people who think it’s the second coming. The reason why I avoid phở like the plague(and now I realize for good reason), is because I’m allergic to shellfish. Not just a little upset tummy or hives, but constriction of airway so I can’t breathe. I was assured that one can avoid shellfish in such a place, so we went. The BF was really good about asking what had shrimp in it and what didn’t(since it wasn’t always clear on the menu) and as such I avoided the papaya salad and crispy rolls. As a part of this conversation, we informed her that I was allergic to shrimp. And I asked her if there was shrimp in the phở. Apparently there wasn’t, so I ordered the vegetable salad roll thing and steak phở. A short time later, I got«the feeling.» The feeling I know all too well when some variation of shellfish has touched my food. I may seem a little extreme, but I rather like being able to breathe. What ended up happening is that I couldn’t finish my meal, I had to wreck our date by going home and taking Benadryl. Food allergies are no joke. Restaurants need to take note.
