Found reviews for this gym on another site, they were all four or five stars so, I was a little skeptical, and the one other review on here was also a 5 star. The reason that’s all I could find is that’s what it deserves. I had called to inquire as to pricing and some procedures, they were friendly, answered all my questions and were friendly about it and explained everything to me. I decided I’d give them a try and go for the 3 day trial, which doesn’t have to be sequential days(bonus). Both times I’ve gone thus far have been in the evenings, pretty quiet, mostly guys in the free weights area(yes, those typical guys you see at every gym in the free weights area). I went and did my thing and didn’t have to wait for the machines I wanted to use, although I was a bit intimidated in the free weights area. The second night was super quiet, almost lonesome, which was great for me, I don’t prefer an audience whilst I workout. After my workout I had an opportunity to speak with the owner, I had seen her the prior evening and she introduced herself to me, very friendly. At this time she had told me a bit more about the procedures of membership and so forth and other health and fitness related things. As for the gym itself, it looks like new, although its been there 5 years. It is smaller than some of the competition, but not to a point where you feel crammed in. The equipment is in great condition and seems to be well maintained. As you walk in you are greeted by a reception area next to which is the protein sales area and between those is a door to the gym area. You walk into the weights area first and to the back is a set of stairs where all the cardio equipment is(I guess the stairs make a good warm-up ;)). Turn back to the front and you’ll see another set of stairs that lead up to an area with three rooms, if I understood correctly two were for classes, but you can use them as long as they’re not in use, and the third contains a punching bag. I still have another day left on my trial, and have yet to decide to become a member, but thus far I don’t see a reason why I wouldn’t.
