I’ve never been a big fan of David’s Tea. I think I’ve been steeping their tea incorrectly in the past. The store wasn’t crazy busy so I stepped in and I began asking a lot of questions with the barista behind the cash. I had a sore throat and she recommended a specific tea for me with some honey. She was more than happy to answer all of my questions and walk me through the benefits of some teas over others. It was such a great experience that I got a cup. Definitely coming back here

A great selection as always but the employees tend to ruin it for me at this particular location. Not to say that the service is bad or rude or anything, but I can see that many of them do not get along and there is clearly a strong and unnecessary hierarchy of staff. And not to mention that their manager is a total witch. within 5 seconds of me walking in the door I am bombarded by samples and, if I choose to accept one, the staff just go on and on about the ingredients and honestly I am not that interested. I would ask if the customer has any allergies and proceed from there but watching as these kids rehearse the ingredients off the top of their head just makes me feel bad for them. Unfortunate. Maybe they should reconsider the management at this location and they could be more laid back, as a tea store should probably be. I particularly avoid going to this one and go to promenade instead but maybe it’s just me?

I like this location! The staff were friendly the three times I’ve been, offering me free samples and helping me navigate through the store. I had a question about a certain flavour and if it would pair well with some booze for sangria. The rep was very helpful; she made suggestions to better suit my needs which I appreciated. I enjoyed the drink I bought too — I ended up taking five steps out of the store, turning around, and buying a 50g’s pack of it. Overall, I’m pretty excited that David’s Tea came to Vaughan Mills.
