Yaletown Music

Yaletown Music offers ukulele, guitar, and harmonica lessons. I’ve been studying ukulele here for a year or so because group classes and I don’t get along!
Guido is an expert teacher. He is able to tailor lessons to your learning style — my lessons are very different than those of some of his other students who want to focus on songwriting or picking. He is always creative about finding ways to explain things you don’t understand or giving you a new way to practice something that is tricky. I get really frustrated with instruments quickly, but with his help I haven’t given up and I can actually see a ton of progress. It helps to have a teacher that can still make you laugh when facing challenges and shows genuine interest in helping you build your musical talents.
I highly recommend Guido if you are thinking of getting in on the ukulele craze and want to get some great guidance.
