Great inexpensive discovery on a hungry weekend morning. It’s the perfect combination of sweet and savory. Wide options of menu items which are reasonably priced.

Best waffle I’ve ever had! The dough is absolutely delicious! I haven’t found a waffle like this anywhere else in Vancouver yet. Love their dark chocolate topping!

Surprisingly excellent! Loved the atmosphere, and everything is made fresh after you order. Love this place! Will definitely be back!

Worst bubble tea I have ever had. I ordered the pineapple slush with pearls. It was not blended what so ever, the drink separated instantly and was basically just watered down extremely artificial pineapple syrup with ice chunks.

This review is for their BUBBLETEA only. I needed a quick bubble tea fix and this was the closest in the area. You can build your own bubble tea: 1. Tea 2. Flavour 3. Tapioca balls or jelly 4. Sweetness(0%, 50%, 100%) I had the taro bubble tea with balls at 100% sweetness. My boyfriend had the mango green tea with coconut jelly at 0% sweetness. They got our order mixed up and I got 0% sweetness(still pretty sweet, in hindsight, it was good they messed up my order). BUT, they gave my boyfriend 100% sweetness and it was pretty much inedible. The level of sweetness was insane. He took it home to blend it into a smoothie but there was still no saving that badboy and as a result, wasted a bunch of kale in the process(whoops). Also, there wasn’t enough tapioca balls in mine, and some of them were rock hard. Yep, rock-solid balls. But not in a good way.

Walked by this place coming back from the library. So I went in and ordered the waffles and bacon. Sat down and waited about 7 minutes and got basically a waffle and 3 strips of bacon. The maple syrup sauce was a very small portion but the waffle tasted good. The bacon was cooked perfectly. It was alright. Nothing too poor or too special about this place. I might come back.

This place was disappointing. I had the veggie waffle, which was one of the oddest breakfasts I’ve ever had. It came with a sweet waffle, covered in powdered sugar, a pickle, tomatoes, wayyyyy over cooked eggs, tomatoes, grapes and a salad with ranch dressing. Overall, nothing went together. Weird.

This is our favorite place for lunch. Savory waffles are very good. People working here are very nice too.

The food here is undeniably microwaved. You don’t believe me? Watch them make your food. There was one lady running the place and within 2 minutes of ordering eggs, bacon, hash browns and a waffle the food was at our table. The eggs were burnt on the outside and rubbery on the inside. The hash brown was one of those frozen ones that was soggy and the waffle was dry and crispy. The only thing that was decent was the bacon. I’d say avoid this place at all costs. There are so many better breakfast places here in Vancouver.

I ordered the cookies and crème waffle and it tasted amazing! Presentation was very attractive and appetizing. The ice cream was really good quality and the waffle was dipped in delicious honey. It was very light and a perfect large sized desert. Although it was a bit pricy, it’s worth just eating there. The atmosphere was comfortable and the service was good and fast. Very cozy and quiet in the shop. Would revisit with high expectations! (Already did haha)

YASSSSSSSS! coffee, waffles, ice cream, nutella, fruit = heaven! don’t even think twice about passing this place up! it’s a cute little shop, perfect for a coffee date to catch up with a friend, or treat your partner to some sweetness. you won’t be disappointed. I didn’t get a chance to take a photo, but I got the nutella banana waffle with ice cream — DELICIOUS!

I was craving a bubble tea and saw the sign outside — I thought, ‘Score!!’. For starters, English communication with staff was confusing and difficult. I asked if the Ferrero Rocher bubble tea was milky or milk-based. Couldn’t get a straight answer so I opted for something fruity. Then I was told a minute later that everything could be done as milky or not. So strange but didn’t want to chance the F/R coming out watery. So I opted for coconut with pearls. Secondly, the price I paid did not match their menu board. $ 3.99 + .60 pearls does not equal $ 5.75 after tax. I did not wish to argue but should have. Thirdly, there was no slush at all. It was just warm coconut liquid. The pearls were done to perfection and the flavour was okay, not too sweet, but this was not a slush so it wasn’t refreshing. Poor, all round. Won’t return.

Kinda expensive– I paid $ 7.10 for one Nutella and Banana Waffle. It was good, but I don’t think it was worth the money. The atmosphere was cute, the employees were plenty nice, and the presentation was good. Free wifi to write this review!

That may be pushing it lol, especially considering that if you walk up a block to Le Petit Belge for some real waffles, well worth the walk up. It’s alright, tried their leige, just average, after you had Nero’s, WB is no comparison. Decent seating area. And when they offer HK style, the ones with the egg bubbles, then for sure you know they’re not dedicated haha. Only saving grace is free wifi, a quick pit stop’s fine.

Hmmm… I was bored of my regular McDonald’s or Timmy Horton’s breakfast so I decided the try something new! Walking by I came upon Waffle Bant: Belgium’s master craftsmen handmade creating(waffles I assume). The Korean guy sitting behind the counter looked both lonely and bored so I decided to drop by to give him a bit of business. I ordered one of their waffle sets… A coffee with a waffle. I guess it was ok. The coffee was hot and strong. The waffle was better than the Eggo waffles I make at home. These ‘Belgium’ waffles handcrafted by a Korean guy were hearty. Chewy and had some substance to them. Not the weak ass stuff out of the Eggo box. I don’t consider myself a cheap ass but $ 5 for a small coffee and a waffle is a bit hefty. My big question is how does this place survive? It seems to me that their waffle offerings are not convincing walk by customers. I walk by here often and it is almost always empty! Rent can’t be cheap here! Waffle Bant is ok. It’s just not special enough to survive!

Another waffle place. I think that waffles are the new cupcakes this year. I found out about this place ’cause I saw a review for it on the November 24, 2014 front page of Unilocal. My best friend and I came here after the German Market before the My Pretties Diamond concert. The waffle here was cheaper than what was across the street. To get this out in the open this is Japanese style waffle. The outside had a weird caramelized glaze. The waffle itself was $ 6 and the toppings are $ 2-$ 3 extra. There are tons of toppings to chose from. We just split the calories and shared a waffle with mango ice cream. The spoon that was given was the size of a laden… no joke. Place is small, no ambiance. They give you full novels to read while you eat… no light reading here. The radio played really bad 90’s pop music.

Ordered the fruit waffle and it was delicious. The waffle is crispy and caramelized on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Some of the fruits weren’t seasonal but still fresh. I wish there were more variety for waffle toppings. The décor is nice inside, however I found the green walls and white lighting rather unappetizing. Waffles were perfect, definitely worth trying!

The waffles was good. The customers was OK but nothing exceptional… Really… The staff is definitely not Belgium-Belge like at the Petit Belge next corner. So for me… The place totally loose the authentic waffle-Belgium brand things… I might or might not come back…
