Ordered some pajamas online on December 12th. I didn’t think it was going to be an issue getting these items before Christmas. Now I am not so sure. I have emailed the company and left messages on their voicemail with no response. I keep checking the online tracking and my order still says it’s «processing». Of course charging my credit card took only a few hours but 8 days and the order hasn’t left yet. Terrible customer service. Really disappointed in this company. I have never shopped here before and will not do so in the future.

I wish I had read these reviews before I bought anything here. I got a scarf here that I still wear all the time even though it is boarder line falling apart(I think I can milk it for another month or 2). My coat on the other hand is disgusting. I got a jacket here like 4 months ago that looked legit and was pretty cheap. About a month later it looked like I had been wearing it for like 12 years. Yes the clothes are cheap but you get what you pay for(probably worse actually). Save your money and go to a legit store.

Yes, the clothes are terrible. They’re ugly and they’re bad quality. But, if you’re like me, you go here for one reason and one reason only: CHEAPFLATS. I go through shoes like you would not believe. I drag my feet too much or something. I destroy flats within months in the summer, because I wear them all the time, so I don’t want to spend a lot of money. That’s where Urban Planet comes in. This place has tons of cute little flats for under $ 20(usually under $ 15). I got a pair of basic black flats, super comfy, for $ 12.99. $ 12.99! That’s amazing! They’ll last me just as long as a $ 80 pair and be just as good. Sometimes I also get super basic tees and tanks here when they’re on sale. $ 5 each. You can’t go wrong. Just don’t buy anything«trendy».

AWWW Urban Planet. where fashion goes to die… I was shocked that Urban Planet opened on South Granville. not really a store you would expect to find in an area that is home to such amazing stores like Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, DKNY, Ronsons. just to name a dew… so why did this low end cheesy club/urban street wear store get into the hood. I have NO idea but frankly it’s sacrilegious that this is what opened in the same building that housed the brilliant Caban. which was the BEST home décor store ever! What really gets me about Urban is the over whelming smell of moth balls that hits you as the door opens… this should be the first indication to turn around and run… I would be lying to you my fellow Unilocalers if I said I had never purchased something… one afternoon. out of pure desperation… I needed new short. stat! And unfortunately for us all Urban Planet was just down the street and the only place to get mens shorts at the time.$ 25 for a pair of brown cargo shorts that came with a belt. not too bad… they still are in my closet. but I never really have been able to get the moth ball smell out of them… As for the service… pretty sure it’s self serve. no one was even around to let me in a fitting room… the cashier was great though.

HOWISTHISPOSSIBLE… you go from being one of the coolest spots in funcouver to this… a place where every time the door opens an overwhelming scent of moth balls comes wafting out… gone are the Eames, and Kartel. In it’s place polyester, and cheap quality. …bleck! I tried to go into this store with an open mind and give it a chance, but no dice… once you have had caviar you can never go back to hot dogs… mmmm hot dogs… I am sure for some this may be «the» fashion store ripe for the picking, but for this Unilocaler it’s ripe… just ripe! now I have to go light a candle for Caban. sniff sniff

I’m probably too old for this store but that didn’t stop me from picking up a pair of kick-ass black patent leather boots for $ 30. Lots of great items at eensy-weensy prices. Fun scarves, shoes, stockings, and sweatshirts. Nothing to take too seriously, and that’s why we love the low prices!

I miss Caban. Every time I walk into Urban Planet, something never feels quite right. Gone are the Hotel Costes mixes and the cool unique jewelry. In its place are boring wares in cooking-cutter styles. The colours are vivid and nice but I miss the well-chosen and crafted things available at Caban. That said, though, Planet Blue does fit in well with Vancouver’s distinct West Coast casual style, terry-cloth sweatshirts and all.
