I appreciate local and most of these items I have seen at one craft fair or another around town. It’s nice to have it all collectively in a cute small shop with personality. Lovely people in the shop and the prices here are comparative to when I see the artists at the fairs.

Full of unique, locally made items! Adorable jewelry from a variety of artists — and they even do custom work (including engagement rings for those if you who like someone enough to claim them in a legally binding agreement.)
They also have handmade ceramics and greeting cards I haven’t seen anywhere else. Totally worth it to drop in when looking for a gift.

I love this tiny (heh) shop! They have the best card selection I’ve ever seen.
They carry handmade gifts from a variety of different local artists. There is a ton of jewellery, soaps and body products, ceramics, and super cute dolls made of recycled fabrics. I love how they’ve set everything up on vintage tables, and the wall hangings are all little wooden frames.
The back of the store is a studio space and it looks like there are a couple of workbenches there. Neat! And I think they just started offering classes for making your own rings.

We stumbled across this business during the Hastings-​Sunrise business trick or treat event the Saturday before Halloween, which happened to be the day they opened. What a lovely space! I was already delighted when the owners mentioned that the very quality, interesting, intriguing and beautiful art is locally made! Wonderful! For lovely items offered by local artists, this place is definitely worth checking out. Another awesome addition to the Hastings-​Sunrise neighbourhood!

Tiny Finery is an adorable jewelry and gift shop. Bright, shiny and new to the Vancouver East Village retail area of the Hastings Sunrise.
The shop has sweet greeting cards, home made, divine smelling soaps and hand crafted jewelry. It’s not just a shop, it’s also a workshop! The potential is obvious for this little space and the energy in this area is ripe. Can’t wait to see their success unfold.
Do you love owning custom pieces in your jewelry collection? Do you enjoy the artisans normally found at Make-​it, Got Craft and other local art events? Do you love designers like Black Drop Design? If you don’t know them, get over there and check it out, you’ll be smitten!
There’s a lot of potential in this little shop and personally, I can’t wait to watch it grow.
