This 2 women operation is a but of a mess, it is operated out of Star salon which makes it difficult to find and as time passed it became very obvious only 1 of them was an actual trained stylist and it is an über old lady salon. I had a Groupon for cut and color for about $ 29, it started off good, pick out a color and got the dye on the roots, after 15 minutes they added in more dye to make it blend… washed that out soon after. Very minimally cut the hair, these ladies don’t seem like they know current hair cutting trends so I asked for a trim of my split ends only! After that they discovered what I had already noticed which was their color matching was not right and the dye was a different color then what I already had at the bottom so they redyed it thinking the SAMECOLOR thinking it would darken from an amber/chocolatey brown to brownish black, FAIL. It darkened slightly but in the end it looks like a bad home job. Fortunately I can fix that at home myself for about $ 10. It included a styling, I just told them to straight iron it. It took the woman like an hour to blow dry and straighten my hair with their very cheap low end hair tools. The experience at best was mediocre, here are some major cons: –The lady that washed my hair the second time to get the dye out was practically pulling my hair right out of my scalp –They tried to take 4 clients at the same time, very unprofessional and 1 women who had an appointment ended up sitting there for 35 minutes after they sat her in the chair, mixed the dye and set it in front of her but didn’t bother to put in on her freakin’ head. –The whole process took 3 bloody hours because of their bad judgment and poor color matching –This is not a clean salon, it is a grungy dirty old place I don’t recommend ever going here unless you are 80 years old and in need of a perm because that seems to be these ladies specialty
