I found a hair in my food. I also did not want a salad and I was given a salad and had to pay for it. I will not be eating here again. My food was also lukewarm at best.

So far this the very best food I’ve had in the Vancouver area. Have come to this city over the last few years I’ve yet to encounter a meal as great as the food served here. Exceptional is the only way to describe it. My wife calls it the best meal of her life. With good reason… the food is full of flavor and life. The Tandoori combo girl plate is a feats of meats packed with flavor. The chicks curry, butter chicken is some of the best I’ve ever had anywhere. I have yet to leave here disappointed. This is the only place worth going out of your way for in all Vancouver. I have yet to find something at his level and so adorable as well. I love this restaurant!

This place is not bad but not good. Very small portions and overpriced. Would only go for big social events

We enjoyed a good meal at Tandoori Fusion. It’s a small restaurant with a busy takeout, as witnessed during our sit down meal in the restaurant. The server brought us a flavourful cup of complimentary lentil soup to start. We ordered papri chat, which was the best I’ve had in a while. Just the right amount of spice, sweet and crunch. Our main was the mixed tandoori plate(lamb chops, chicken, beef and prawns). My husband referred to it as a mountain of meat. It was very good and a generous portion. The aloo Gobi was okay, missing something but I don’t know what. The raita was great and the naan fresh. On our next visit we will try a different veg dish since the aloo Gobi disappointed. But definitely will get tandoori meats and papri chat is a must. Service was friendly and just a little slow between appetizer and main course; probably due to take out orders.

Came here this week for dinner. Had the butter chicken and vegetable jalfrezi. Service was nice, food and portions were good.

Excellent food, but a little pricey. This is traditional Indian food and the portions are decent. About 6 – 8 dishes will feed a group of 9 and you will probably still have leftovers. I recommend anything lamb or tandoori. Good ambience –clean, cozy, well lit Average service — depending on the server you get. Most of the servers will go out of their way to help you, including helping you choose your order, but it can be very difficult to get their attention during the normally busy dinner rush. Also, I have had problems with reservations(especially on weekends or holidays). It is extremely busy, so don’t expect a guaranteed seat! 7.5÷10 — recommend

If I ate here as much as I’d like to I’d eventually have to be wheeled in. Thinking about their pakora, biryani, butter chicken and garlic naan is making my mouth water !!

A family favorite. My 3 year old can’t get enough of the chicken tikka and homemade naan, and neither can we! The best takeout /delivery in kits, no question!

The food here is absolutely AMAZING; I was so happy to discover this gem when I moved to kits! I’m addicted to the Chicken Hyderabadi and Kashmiri Pulao. I usually get takeout, and those two dishes + a nan bread = 2=3 meals! I really should explore the menu more but keep going back for the same wonderful dish. The place is really busy(no wonder!) so if you’re dining in, it’s best to book a table. There are also a couple of tables outside. This is great value for money, too, considering how big the portions are. Highly recommended!

The appetizers tasted great, but I found tiny chunks of meat in my vegetarian meal. That was not okay. Great place for those who eat meat. Absolutely awful for vegetarians and vegans.

After having had take out from here several times(see previous review) I have now made it in for their lunch specials a few times and I am equally impressed. The restaurant is small with only about 12 tables, it is casually but nicely decorated. Lots of regulars seem to frequent here. The service has been good, although I do think the waitress we’ve had should provide more information to customers about the lunch specials — it hasn’t been mentioned once, I’ve had to ask about it. They do have a sandwich board outside with that info so maybe she feels that is adequate, but as a new customer to the restaurant you may not see it/be looking for it. The lunch special is a great deal at approx $ 11 for vegetarian and $ 12 for meat. I’ve tried the butter chicken, chicken curry and most recently the goat curry which far exceeded my expectations. The meat lunch special comes with salad, 1 pc tandoori chicken, vegetarian dish/lentils, rice, naan and a small dessert. A great value and very delicious combination. They are also licensed so I was able to enjoy a glass of wine with my lunch. My go to Indian place in Vancouver for take out or dining out; keep up the good work!

My indian neighbour, who is an excellent cook, said this place is the best Indian food outside of Surrey. She was 100% right. The Tikka Masala is to die for. So much flavour and rich spices. My taste buds hadn’t seen that much action since my 8 year old self tried pop rocks for the first time. I’ve been back over a dozen times and always order enough for leftovers. Try this place out!

Came here for a late lunch after a morning of pampering. For 4 girls we ordered quite a bit. Got the butter chicken, lamb curry, a vegetable curry, spinich and cheese Naan, garlic Naan, 2 orders of rice and a veggie pakora. Spinich and cheese Naan was great with the yogurt that comes with it. The lamb curry was good, until I had the butter chicken curry. Hands down for me, the butter chicken was the best of the three. For the carbs, I’m not big on rice, I generally like to have my curry with Naan instead. But today I think I had an even proportion of both. Not that many tables, probably 8 — but can be adjusted. Décor was simple, and good ventilation. You can order take out too! The wait wasn’t that long for our food, but then again there was only one other table that was occupied when we went at 2pm! If I were back in the Kits area and looking for Indian food, I would come back to Tandoori Fusion

I’ve heard good things about this place from a few folks but have always walked by.(For some reason I thought it was take out only with perhaps a few tilted tables stolen from a bingo hall.) Last night feeling a dash of daring(?) we ventured in. Nice room! Not lots of tables but enough. Warm and friendly. And so is the service. And the food. Huge menu — with pretty decent prices. At my wife’s husband’s urging we sorta — well — went to town and pigged out. Samosas(great!) — Chicken Vindaloo– Beef Korma — other stuff. Complimentary starter soup. Fabulous. Decent beer and limited wine list(which I never drink with East Indian food) but lots of other options. We. Were. Impressed.

Great takeout/delivery option, will have to try dine-in. Portion wise you easily get two meals out of one main dish order. I’ve tried the lamb rogan josh and lamb vindaloo. The rogan josh is definitely recommend. Great balance of spices and flavours. Though a little pricier than other places each dish includes either rice or fresh naan bread. The naan is softer and pillowy so if you like the crispy kind you might not like it. Staff are friendly which usually means the owners treat them well.

This is a relatively new North Indian food place. One of my friends recommended me to go this place, and since then I have been there multiple times in groups of all different sizes. Guess what, I have never been disappointed! If you are close to Kits, and wondering where to go for Indian food, look no further. Born and bred in India, I know my butter chickens and curry chickens, and this place actually serves it like back home. The butter chicken is really creamy, and I would go on to say that this would be the best butter chicken I have tried in Vancouver. So, simply order the naan and butter chicken if you are wondering what to order. The lamb and mutton dishes, or the biriyani are worth trying too. I did not like the chicken tandoori that much though, I have had better. I am not much into veggies, so, cannot really comment about the veggie part of their menu, but, my vegetarian friends were happy with what was served. The staff and the manager are very friendly and cordial. Summing it up, IMHO this is why Tandoori Fusion stands above the other Indian places: 1) The creamy butter chicken. 2) The huge portions for the reasonable price. 3) The complimentary starters Some other key points: 1) Try to go in a bigger group, so that you can try a larger variety of dishes. I know this sounds like generic advice, but, it specially true here, as the dish portions are huge, and a small group would imply you only get to try one or two dishes. 2) If you like pakoras, or if you have never before tried Indian styled starters, go for the pakoras. 3) Try to go a tad earlier, they are justifiably fussy about closing on time. 4) Try the piyaj parantha and aloo parantha, instead of just going for the naan. You might find a new favorite Indian bread. Also any plate of naan/parantha come with quite a few pieces of berad, so start slow on your order. 5) They also do deliveries.

Food was delicious. Went in with a PARTY of 14 people and service was really good. Waitress was friendly and astonished at the number of naans that we ordered. Protip: each naan is 3 pieces so 1 or 2 naans each person is a good idea. Not 5.

Ordered a meat and a veggie lunch platter and both were great. Took the option for butter chicken instead of lamb curry. Great meal and a filling lunch. The veggie had a fantastic eggplant curry. Both came with a veggie curry with cauliflower and peppers. The tandoori chicken and veggie pakora were good. The butter chicken and the pakora were saltier than the other dishes, but still quite good.

Don’t think I’ll be coming back here due to this kind of service/bad experience: I had never been there before. I walked in at 3:28 because their sign outside said lunch specials are until 3:30. When I went in, they refused me, spoke to the manager and refused again, repeating that the special is only until 3:30. Confusing policy, one not worth arguing about. Waited for take out anyway, one dish took exactly half an hour to make, and I wasn’t offered water while I waited. Patron next to me was sat at 3:30 and wanted the lunch special and also got refused twice. Very strange how inflexible they were. I can get good food anywhere in this town, even my own kitchen, but I go to restaurants for the experience.

WOW… I guess I’ve been sleeping on this place because I live around the corner and apart from a fairly forgettable lunch special, I finally got take out for dinner. We just got 2 dishes: chicken tikka masala(hot) and the chili chicken(also ordered hot). Both had great flavors. Each came with choice of rice or naan. We got one of each. For just my wife and I, after dinner, we still had leftovers(probably enough for lunch for 1 person). The flavors were great, and they didn’t disappoint on the spice. I would be interested to try many more of their dishes. You get a 15% discount for pick up, but next time I’d like to eat there and try it out. Finally, I only gave them 4*s because the prices are $ 14+ per dish, which I think is a bit on the pricey side. Nonetheless, the food quality is great, and I’ll definitely be back.
