I like that these guys know not to make direct eye contact with me before 11am and/or before my 1st mocha. Yeah sure Milano is right down the street and has fantastic beans and sexy blends but Starbucks will always be that old wife I come home to… PS — dear Mr. Starbucks — there’s always an excruciatingly long line up for the bathroom at this location as I believe you’re the only store without some sort of protected bathroom(key, buzz, etc) in all of Gastown. As Taylor Swift once said Crackers gotta crack, crack, crack, crack, crack, crack… Anyways here’s a free 5* review, put a lock on the bathroom.

My go to Starbucks since I am going to school right by it. I don’t like how it takes forever to get a coffee here since it’s always so busy with a huge line up, also the breakfast food is pretty gross here. I got the ham and Swiss breakfast brioche and the ham smelled and tasted old and really gross. Other than that love starbucks and the girls here are friendly

Obviously being in gastown, this one has character. Nothing cooler than walking off the cobble stones to come in here. Generally busy w/the tourists too. Nice in the summer w/its patio seating.

Starbucks is Starbucks. Consistency and quality are expected when you go to a Starbucks, and that is what you get here.

I’m only giving this place one star because they have removed all the electrical outlets for patron use. Seriously?! What made Starbucks back in the 90’s and early 2000’s? You’d go to Starbucks, grab your $ 5 latte, sit on your laptop and do some work or studying and then leave. I have nothing against the staff, they’re fine and so are the drinks. But this is probably one of the ONLY starbucks to date where I can’t plug in my iphone or laptop while sipping on my coffee. I guess they are relying on a heavy customer turn over so they don’t want you to loiter. It’s funny because a year ago, I remember that they had at least ONE outlet by the leather couches, and now that outlet is gone now too.

This is my new go to starbucks. The team is great, the store is bright and cool, there’s lots of seating(i especially like the big table that everyone ends up sitting at together) and it’s stupidly well located. Which is to say I really like the location. And now that the sun is coming out they have a nice little outdoor space to sit in and people watch or read or whatever it is you do while you’re at a coffee shop.

I really like this Starbucks because the baristas are so nice. They didnt have any apple juice for my apple cider but gave me a hot chocolate instead. Yum!

I came here when visiting as a tourist, took photos here during my visit as a permanent resident, and now work nearby! So it has fond memories for me :) Can be very busy at times, especially during winter months, and hard to find seats, but is a prime tourist area after all. Makes a great caramel apple spice, and outside is a view of the mountains :)

Nice team, but a bit slow on the coffee an counter. Maybe it was still too early. My coffee was pretty tasty, but pricey. I pad over $ 3.50 for a SMALL latte. What gives? Don’t half step. Get your hot coffee here inside the Watefront terminal before you jump on the Sea Bus.

Had the most amazing peppermint soy latte there a few months ago on a weekend trip to my favorite city in the world! I don’t know if it’s the Canadian soy milk or what but it was by far the best I ever had. After living in the land of Starbucks, Seattle, thats saying a lot!!!

It is commonly known I am pretty much anti-Starbucks. However, the Dark Cherry Mocha line of drinks has quelched this but it is the only drink line or product I will purchase other than the Jones sodas. That being said, I wanted to rate this Starbucks 3.5 stars but for the location, I’ll give it the extra half star. It’s a Starbucks with most of the usual Starbucks fare such as muffins, cookies(no peanut butter though :(), Jones sodas, Naked drinks, etc. Except being on the corner of Water St, it has views of both the Steam Clock and the waterfront front either the patio or the interior. It is reasonably clean by most standards. There is also a long table in front of the display case(showcasing the muffins and drinks). Depending on which side you sit on, you either see the Steam Clock or the display case. The staff here appears very nice and attentive and do offer suggestions on what to include with your drinks such as whip, extra chocolate sprinkles, etc.
